I use to really like Mike (BJ) Farrel until I found out he was a flaming idiot LIBERAL...but then I should have known better since he lives in California. Its ashame he is so blinded by his ideas.
The actors and producers love to celebrate the fact that the show was 'anti war' but that is not why people watched. People like myself tolerated the fact that MASH made out officers to be war mongerers and conservatives to be nit wits.
Farrell invited Nicaragua's Communist Sandinista junta leader, Daniel Ortega, for a nine-day publicity tour of American cities to denounce the Reagan administration's opposition to Ortega's dictatorship.

Well, he's a HARD LINE Communust going so far as to travel to Central America to participate in a real life Medical Operation. In 85 he flew to San Salvador to assist Dr. A. Sanchez in performing surgery on Nidia Diaz, a guerrilla leader of the Marxist Revolutionary Party of Central American Workers. This group only two months earlier had claimed responsibility for the murder of four U.S. Marines, 2 American businessmen, and 9 civilians. What a sweet wonderful guy huh ?

@rickyfan3956 The man is pretty much a communist, if not in official title, then by his actions. He also campaigns on behalf of criminals.
Go to his website and you'll find all you need to know. Better yet, read his autobiography, 'Just Call Me Mike'. It's a good read, but it's also horrifying.
