Its weird how even in this documentary, the SAS aren't portrayed wearing their helmets. I've played video games and seen films with the SAS in black kit in them, and they're almost never shown wearing helmets.

@englandforeverist Yes they MUST wear body armour, it's an absolute must have, it stops bullets why would you not wear it? anyways I asked my uncle he was a Major (retired) in the S.A.S so that's where I got the answer just to be sure

I cant tell you the exact amount of weight within the burgans or black kit of the SAS. But i know that they have 20 bricks put into their burgans when training. Thats the minimum requirment of weight btw. I would asume for the black kit your looking at a light weight but incrediably protective suit. I'd say around 10 bricks woth of kit.

I always did like the SAS, probably mostly because they have that cool british accent ^^ But I keep getting reminded of that discussion on "who's the best", and as far as I can tell Norway has the best snipers and hostage retrieval units at the moment while the French foreign Legion has the toughest all-around special units, but I know there was some shadowey Australian special forces that are less known, can't remember what they were called though... Anyone know?

There is nothing wrong with being 2nd to someone who has been doing it longer and better than you have. I would put money down on a 4 man SAS team over a SEAL team any day of the week.
