  • I agree that we should have gone out to notify people...and we did.

    Many people refused to come back and be part of the process.

    (Though I do also acknowledge that there may have been a few people that left b/c they didn't know parlementary procedure and we were unable to reach them to inform them to stay...but I think overall it was a choice. Those who wanted to stay to try to resolve things and those who stood in the back of the room and refused to be counted and/or just walked out.)

  • The woman at the end that says the people left honestly...sorry, but this is not entirely the case.

    The crowd's reaction was silent stun followed immediately by an appeal to the chair's decision by Mr. Webber, but the mics were cut. So, the crowd started booing.

    While a handful of people may have honestly thought it was over, we made it clear to please stay so that we could get things resolved.

    There were people standing in the back of the room refusing to be counted as part of the quorum.
