I have a solution for your problem go to System Preferences and then on the Network where it is automatically pressure there then make a new place finished it helped me or i can just make a video if it's a problem
"Change Wireless Channels – I noticed that a neighbor recently changed their wireless channel to the same one I was on, it’s a weak signal but can still cause interference. I logged into my wireless router and changed the wireless channel to a more obscure and unique one."
Today I noticed after waking the computer out of sleep mode. I did notice that problem. It was easily corrected by just shutting down and restarting. As soon as I did that, Airport found the network immediately.
when i first installed snow leopard, i had no airport issues, but then my internet just randomly stopped working, like many of you my status and signal were fine and the problem could not be found, i gave up, and then moments later it just worked again. This was ridiculously annying i am very displeased with this. ill be patient with apple since snow leopard is fairly new, but they better take care of these issues.like we can afford airport to work whenever it feels like it.
Thanks for the pointers given here. I found that creating a new location worked the first time I did it then I could not repeat the fix when Airport failed again. The only way that I can fix it repeatedly at the moment (and since the 10.6.1 update!) is by changing the name of the SSID (Network Name) on the router. Then it connects fine. Another oddity noticed... I created a new location in preparation for renaming the SSID. I connected to the new network and the location completely vanished!
Thanks to everyone who posted here - by creating your own network and forcing AirPort NOT to find it automatically, everything seems to working much faster and much better. drzavaleta1 well done!
After the upgrade it said my airport works fine but nothing works internet-related! Safari, iChat, and iTunes and whatever else don't work although it says the airport works fine! Anyone know whats wrong?
i had the same problem i fixed it by going to finder/libary/preferences and delete every in that folder. i restarted the mac and created a new network location and alls working for me now :D
Sorry you guys had that problem. However when I upgraded to snow leopard everything was great. I have verizon fios for internet and had NO problems recodnizing my network. So far I have had a great experience.
No problems here. I have been pretty lucky. When I first installed snow leopard I didn't run into any problems. And now after there latest update, still problem free. Occasionally, Ichat takes time to connect but my airport connection has always worked great for me.
Had the same problem, but fixed it by creating a new location under Network Preferences. It's typically set to "Automatic". After creating a new location and selecting it, the airport properly turns on and off and (so far) connects to wireless networks. Worth a try. . .
Same problem here. Even wiped the machine and did a clean install as opposed to the upgrade. I found that it does work, sometimes as well. BUT in reality the range is severly diminished under Snow Leopard, and will drop off usually after sleep as well. Have to go back to Leopard if no update or solution comes for myself.
I'm sorry to tell you that this has been an issue with Macbook Pros since 10.5.8 and that there has yet to be a solution put forth by Apple nor, to my knowledge, any acknowledgment that it's a problem at all by them.
In my case, sometimes it works with my home network and sometimes it doesn't. I haven't found a functional solution online yet.

The procedure is very simple.!
Open FINDER - we go on MACINTOSH HD - we enter into the Library folder -
We go into the Preferences folder - in the end we will find a folder with written
SystemConfiguration transporting abolish it in the trash.
Reboot the machine and we're done Airport back to work.

I fixed the problem: first I had only a WPA-Key but I changed it in my Router to WPA2. Now Airport works perfectly without issues :)

Now it's working but I didn't do anything.
I disconnect my USB 3g dongle and the wifi Internet connection works properly.
I'm scared to reboot, because yesterday began to work and after a reboot stops.

Restarted?
Still working?
I have the exact problem, using the internal wireless adapter!
Also had it running for short and after reboot nothing goes!
Hope someone got some help!
