  • actually there are 2 versions of DX, the one from ps2 and the one from PC, which both versions are similars but diferent on the render view, also DeusEx version has multiplayer which is currently active,

  • What is the difference between this one and Deus Ex: Invisible War?

  • @ADRIEL296: This is first game and Invisible War is sequel released 3 years later.

  • Watcing this makes me wanna put the game in and play it. I still have it after all the years and play it from time to time. I can't wait for Human Revolution.

  • These aren't mods. This is the ps2 version of the game. ...Someone should make a mod of this for the PC though.

  • Great mods!

  • The hand movement animations are terrible.

  • u got funny settings

  • MY Top 3:

    1. Deus Ex

    2. Fallout

    3. System Shock 2

Challenger for the #1 spot: Planescape: Torment

  • @NartSaga Planescape not in the 1# spot? blasphemy

  • PS2

    still good tho

  • Well, it's nice that they updated the models. Too bad the animations looked a little... 'glitchy'

  • I always knew this was more than just a game. The story and plot was to good and believable. I can't believe that this game actually mentions the names of the real groups and people, such as the illuminati, rothchild's and rockefellers. Wow.

  • There are no many people, who realised that fact. Deus Ex is unique in many ways, but please don't forget, that the most dangerous lies are hidden between two truths. They are much more, which is still hidden. The more you go into the truth (read the holy bible), there more you start to see the deception they try to put in humans mind. It's a mental preparation for the near future, I would say. And even lies are logical for us. If they wouldn't be, nobody would believe them. Be wakeful, friend.

  • what do you mean "more than a game"?

  • @KevinLounsberry Everything that was in the game is happening in the real world now. The game centers around a new world order that will come about after the elite in all countries destroy their own economies on purpose. Wall street played the bad guy in the game and they are seen as the bad guys now; however those who research the illuminati knows wall street had no power to collapse the economy.

  • OMG if William Cooper had the chance to play this game, i think he would have been shocked.

  • If they made a remake of deus ex the conspiracy to be played on xbox 360 and ps3 i guarentee you that it would have gotten more credit than it did for ps2.. is it me or is this game my #1 choice for best storyline?

  • it's not you. Deus Ex is just the best game of all times. Strangely, I can't explain why I love it so much. I have some games with storylines that are awesome, but somehow Deus Ex is beyond normal games. oO it's awesome! *builds an altar and prays to JC Denton*

  • @pitbull2890 If you like an immersive storyline, try planescape torment

  • @Gwaziiscorner Amazing story. but for #1 spot I will wait until I finish the game. You have good taste :)

  • @NartSaga Thank you :) you too, i just saw a top 3 list, and i didnt see modern warfare in there, so i jumped in joy, (game is fun, but nowhere near top 10/3 material :P)

  • I can't wait for the HD-Mod which is in the works. The way Deus Ex looks now, it's ... let's just say it didn't age well.

  • I personally think Deus Ex has aged just as well as Doom has. A game like Duke Nukem 3d hasn't aged very well

  • I was talking about the graphics and the animations only. That's what the HD-Mod does. The game itself is by far one of the best games i ever played and still play.

  • Holy crap! I didn't remember that scene. This game is so much stranger in a eery way if you consider past events. They really should redo this game or make a movie.

  • its definately creepy how much this game intentionally and untentionally predicted. see on liberty island, that the world trade centre was omitted from the city skyline. this game was originally released in 2000. a movie really should be made...

  • A movie... A crap idea. It would just end up like Max Payne. Everyone expected Holywood couldn't ruin a Max Payne movie. But we were wrong... Who says they won't do the same to Deus Ex?

  • i was really disappointed by max payne (because it left out so much of the story) so maybe a hollywood movie is a bad idea. a dx movie was actually in discussion of being made a while ago when (i think) fox had the rights. they wanted to cast eminem as jcd! that would have been terrible!

but a movie would still be awesome, they just need the right people behind it. i mean, look at how epic and relatively true to the source material lord of the rings was.

  • If I remember correctly, the rights to Deus Ex have already been bought. Don't get your hopes up, though. I highly doubt Warren Spector will have a hand in making it. The original writers never do.

  • man the PC version was so much better then the PS2 version. lol great vid ;)

  • They didn't needed to release PS port... DX is not some stupid arcade shooter :)

  • You should have killed the soldier in the tower

  • Why? All that happens is Manderly asks JC about it. Really a waste of ammunition if you use the pistol or stun prod ammo

  • You get assault rifle with some ammo, which is pretty useful cause you don't get it for a while

  • I personally don't use the assault rifle. It is far to inaccurate for me unmodded. You don't get to decently mod it accurately until after Hong Kong

  • Some people like it, and its nice to have

  • Yeah. A simple pistol, crossbow or stun prod are probably the most effective weapons in the game in my opinion.

  • I guess assault rifle isn't THAT useful, but EMP grenades are really, really useful

  • its not that i hate the rifle so much as i just never have enough ammo for it

in my opinion the shotgun is great and once you get the assult shotgun your god

and emp grenades are the greatest thing known to man

  • are there 2 version of dues ex on the ps2, cus i have a deus ex on ps2 and i dont know if its the conspiracy..?

  • No there's only one game but the US version was called 'Deus Ex: The Conspiracy' rather than just normal 'Deus Ex'

  • This was the end of the first mission on Liberty Island where it depicts the statue of liberty as having been the victim of a terrorist attack. They're standing in the top room of the ruined statue in this scene, about the shoulder level of the statue.

I think it's amazing how much truth was interwoven with the plot of this game.

  • I killed the leader with my baton and tossed his ass over the ledge. And after a friendly troop gave me props for the mission, I cut him up real good and took his assault rifle. Oh and that kid later on who asks for food? I got the code for behind the soda machine, gave him a candy bar, and when he turned around, I whacked his punk ass with my crowbar, and threw that little chump in the ocean. Punk ass bitch lookin for handouts. And JoJo the pimp? I gave him a ghetto pass, but his ho be dead.

  • Why'd they dumb down the health system on the PS2?

  • It would be alot harder to manage an inventory and multi-limb health system with a PS2 controller. In other words get a PC version of Deus Ex.

  • Very interesting indeed, and true.

  • ps2 version

i beat da pc version & dis 1

    on REALISTIC

  • actually, this game is fairly easy in general.

    even on realistic.

  • I wish they would have made the PC characters look the way they do in the ps2 version

  • amazing game.
