I absolutely LOVE the simpsons it's a class act but if i had to put it in an order...

1:American Dad (usually i go between phases of american dad and family guy)

2:Family Guy

3:South Park

4:Futurama

5:Simpsons

6:The Cleveland Show

Now before you say anything this is MY opinion and i am not critizizing anyone, and i do watch all of these regularly when im in the mood and i like them all but my sense of humour is a bit more balanced towards Seth Macfarlane's creations rather than Matt Groenings.

The writting is going down the drain and the seasons are getting weaker and weaker. However it used to be the best comedy show ever and is the best cartoon comedy show in the history of tv.

@cbfdxbxsb I actually don't notice a signifcant change until season 10. I actually like season 9 a lot, I know it gets a lot of hate. For me season 10 was the first one where there were episodes I just flat-out never finished and never bothered too. It went downhill for a bit but there was resurgence in seasons 13-14

in a way, i think family guy is a copy of the simpsons:

both are a family of five which consist of a father, a mother, two young kids, a baby and a dog. the father is an overweight, idotic alcoholic. the mother is a housewife who often struggles to condone what her husband does, but always loves to have sex with him. the son is a clumsy underacheiver. the daughter is a smart social outcast and very critical of her father's contant stupid actions. the baby and the dog are the only differences.
