Wolves are an integral part of the delicate ecosytem and are a foundational keystone species, helping to maintain the extremely fragile balance of these ecosystems which are already at high risk because of human activites. Hunting wolves does not benefit the ecosystem in any way. However wolves greatly benefit the populations of the ecosystems they live in.

Any Hunting when regulated is a vital part of conservation efforts. If the population can support a regulated hunt then it should be allowed. Hunting provides direct taxation for conservation efforts and can keep a species population stable. People that just say "DONT KILL THE WOLVES" or anything else for that matter are tree hugging hippies and don't understand the reality, and what an important and vital part hunting plays in conservation.

Palin shoots animals from a helicopter which is just as bad as allowing hunting on an animal that is on the endangered list. removing them to early could be harmful to the population.
