Hi, my frontons is doing great. Blood parrots are only moderately aggressive, so it is not a problem as long as the difference in size is not excessive. Frontosa can be more aggressive. However, the problem is Friontosa prefers harder water. You need to keep the ph 7 or more. 8 is better. It is also argued that these fishes are bled in farms, they probably get use to neutral at 7.
So I don't see any problem mixing them as long as tank is big enough.
9 months later, my fronts are doing just fine. I have to upgrade on tank soon though lol

how is the frontosa doing? i was thinking about putting a frontosa with my blood parrot... are they doin ok?
