I'm Finnish and I want to learn some Hungarian. I have a friend online that sometimes teaches me some sentences, and then I got interested in this language. :)
@Milk4ppl You are very lucky! I am learning Hungarian and it is very difficult because the language is so different from other European languages. But for you, Finnish and Hungarian are actually distant relatives, so it will be easier for you. For me, Hungarian is not related at all to any languages I speak (English, French, Russian, Danish, etc.)
@katinasvenska No language is useless and I am also from Australia and have found many occasions to practice my Magyar, with tourists, with Magyars who are now living in Australia, it's always fun :) You can basically find a speaker of almost every language in every country, the only problem may be if you live in a small country town, but other than that, you'll eventually find some Magyar's to practice your Magyar, don't fret :)
I thought that hungarian magyar nyelv is much harder. If only someone could explain me with pronounciation of some vowels and noun cases, the way I could easily understand... There's to many of them:). If I will learn hungarian some day, I'll be able to speak two of the most tongue twisting languages in Europe:).

I fell in love with hungarian..it's sooo soft. awesooome language.. but, I ask myself if the woman in the video pronounce everything perfectly.. what about when she says the words for the different languages...like franciaul...ect... isn't the ending the ul.. slightly french-like? with this typical french breath and voice melody at the end...I don't know how to explain it.. angoluleh.... you know? can any hungarian person tell me, if I'm wrong about this?
She has some, really tiny accent but she is doing great. When she sais franciáUL, angolUL, magyarUL, the UL-s means like in the English language IN - IN English, IN German, IN Hungarian or in German AUF deutsch, AUF ungarisch...etc, so in this case: Hungarian UL = German AUF = English IN. But only in this case!!! I hope you get me ;-) Thanks for your nice opinion about our language.

We have some sound from the old scythian and sanscrit (tibetan ceremonian) language.

@ManDTee wa za fak? it sounds french to you? why? cause you're a fucking ignorant troll?
hungarian is one of the oldest languages that remained nearly untouched. place it with sumerian, mesopotamian, schytian.
also, hungarian is not even an indo-european language, like ALL the European languages are. so, how the heck does this sound French... I'm clueless at this point, and flabergasted at the same time, mister/mrs/miss ManDTee!
Does adding the "ul" to a word in hungarian make it mean "the ###"... Because that's how it is in Romanian... is this a coincidence or a grammatical similarity?
no it doesn't mean the same as in Romanian. "ul" at the and of a word means what way you can speak. for exemple: "angolul" means in english language, or "románul" (román means Romanian) means in Romanian language.
@Balkance It has a different meaning, "ul" is added to a word when you answer the question "how?" or "what language?" (e.g. IN Romanian=románUL; badLY, LIKE shit = rosszUL, szarUL)

@ManDTee dude its hungarian dont u get it ahahha ? she is translating/teaching hungarian to french .... XD

Balkance 1 year ago
@Balkance
no it doesn't mean the same as in Romanian. "ul" at the and of a word means what way you can speak. for exemple: "angolul" means in english language, or "románul" (román means Romanian) means in Romanian language.
david14kor 1 year ago
@Balkance It has a different meaning, "ul" is added to a word when you answer the question "how?" or "what language?" (e.g. IN Romanian=románUL; badLY, LIKE shit = rosszUL, szarUL)

Jó reggelt! = Bon matin! = Good morning!
Jó napot! = Bon jour! = Good day!
A bon jour ugyan nem jelent jó reggelt.
Ce n'est pas difficile.
