• this has nothing to do with makeup but you kinda look like snooky, i think its your eyes, but im not sure, theres just something that reminds me of snooki lol

  • Thank you very helpful :))

  • omg thanks so much i was wondering what to buy on my back to school spree but i was having trouble surfing the web for every item to be named so you really helped!

  • I just want you to know that this was the first makeup video on youtube i've ever watched. Its been about two years ago since i first watched this video and i have never forgotten about it. I really wanted to let you know how much just this video changed my life and made me start my journey as a MUA. I'm so happy i found this video again. Thank you! :)

  • what color and brand of foundation are you wearing you look so flawless. thanks.

  • how do you use a stick fondation????

  • I love the way you make your videos, they're well planned, but not fake,

    Definitely one to subscribe !

  • so glad amy is back!!!

  • What song is this??? I'm obsessed! lol

  • @adep2006 c'est si bon...

  • Hi Guys! I'm going to do an updated video of my fave products and what I think is essential to use.

The principles will pretty much still be the same but the products have changed, and I want to share with you some of the great products I'm using now.

    Amy xx

  • ive got the same guitar as you and your really pretty !!!

  • Wow .. Indonesian German ..

  • heeey , i was wondering if you now what color i should use for my bronzer ?

  • i love your voice! it's beautiful, so are you and i'm half asian too!

  • You're HOT <3

  • Ur top is so cute!!

I have so much make up in my make up bag and I already have a lot of things to carry with me everyday. I would like to minimise some things. Whats the 5 essential things u'd reccomend for me?

  • wow

theres so much more to all this

i would have to spend alot of money to get all this! btw youre very pretty.

i have a question, i have acne, fair complexion skin, and at the moment i am using a cream MAC concealer to cover up which was recommended to me by one of the salesperson. but after i wear it for some time it starts looking really cakey and it makes my skin look very shiny and i hate that it makes me look pink!

is there any type of concealer i may use instead? =/

  • YOu could try something a little thinner or liquid. I love Stila's perfecting concealer. It's thick enough that it covers spots, but it spreads easily.

Also I suggest stick foundation over areas that need extra coverage. But be warned, it is thick and oily. I don't apply it all over my face just on areas that need help. It looks much more natural than using concealer. I don't use concealer over large areas normally (except the Stila one!)

  • I must say that you have the BEST make up tips! (And I'm a brutally honest type of girl.) I absolutely loved the Breakfast At Tiffany's look. Not only is that my fav. movie of all time but I think the 1960s make up still is the most beautiful. BTW what is your nationality? Just wondering because I am also part Eurasian (1/2 Korean, 1/4 French, 1/4 Mexican.) THANKS!

  • Thank you very much!

Omigod! What a mix! I'm half Indonesian(dad) and half German (mum).

  • Thanks for the tips! You're awesome! You've got such a girly and feminine style you know so...good job on that lol! I read somewhere that you cook, so if you're cooking abilities are as strong as your makeup and singing abilities than you should show us how to make food look "glamorous" lol

  • I absolutely love your videos; your work is so wonderful and really inspired me to make up! he he. Thank you.

    Have a sweet day♥

  • Hi, Im a teenager and Everyone keeps telling me I shouldn´t wear foundation because it isnt good for the skin, Also I whent to the maybelline store for the first time. My parents wouldn´t let me wear makeup, after a while they agredd so anyways I got lip gloss and liquid eyeliner

  • Amy, I have dirty blonde/light brown hair what kind of liner do you suggest to fill in for my eyebrows??

  • With brows, when I am deciding how to fill them in, I look at colour and thickness of brows. Mine are quite thin and dark so I can afford to fill mine in with pencil. If your brows are anything like my model, Megan, then I suggest using an eyeshadow to fill them in. Some brands like Mac have a good range of brow pencils for different coloured hair, but I find eyeshadow (a taupe colour) is best.

  • Wow, your makeup is flawless! I went to Macy's to buy the Shiseido Fine Eyeliner and the salesgirl said it was discontinued! Is this true? I hope not.

  • It's not discontinued, they just have it in soft black and brown. They are replacing it with a new liner, kinda like Mac's fluid liner and comes with a brush. If you want something like the one I use, try Dior. They have a pen liquid liner, just like the Shiseido one.

P.S. I was once trapped in Macy's in NY with a junkie who was following us (long story!) and we were trying to run away from him, and the security guard was looking at us like we were the ones with the problem! Hahhaha.

  • You've convinced me to get liquid foundation =).

you are beautiful by the way, i love your choice in music as well. hahaha

  • how do I know what colour bronzer is best for my skin? I'm scared of buying a colour that is too dark for my asian skin...any tips on how to find the right colour? Thanks!

  • A lot of brands do different shades or like a light or dark option. Test it out in the shop. It should be darker than your foundation- maybe by a shade or two. You want to look radiant, but not dirty looking (like you have mud on your face!). That really is the test!

  • AMAZING videos.

I need help, I am quite freckly, and I was wondering, would you mind giving me some tips on how to hide the freckles as I do hate my freckles.

    Thankyou :]

    x

  • My model, Megan, is freckly and she hates them too and always wants me to hide them (even though I think they are beautiful!).

The trick is to pick a foundation colour halfway between the colour of your freckles and your skin. For areas that need a little extra coverage, use a stick foundation.

  • Could you please tell me what brand and colour that peach lipstick was that you showed at the end? It was a really nice colour. Thanks x (btw - you're gorgeous! =D)

  • All the products are listed in the description text to the right of the video. Click on the "more" button. Everything is there!

  • I can't believe how professional your makeup looks! I

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE all your videos....sometimes I get lost in the music and forget reading the text n have to go back ;)

Good luck with the new website. Keep doing the great job !

  • Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try the tinted moisturizer. And Amy, what was the name of that nail polish you were wearing when you were doing the brides makeup? Thanks again.

  • I have no idea now! That was so long ago!

  • My God. You are amazing, a natural you must be!! My skin is very dry and I have problems wearing a foundation, it makes my face look so dull and it slides into the wrinkles as well. :o/ I have never tried to wear a loose powder over it because I thought it would make me look even more dry...? Do you think I should try or should I go for a tintet moisturizer (have never tried that either). Should I wear translucent powder over tintet moisturizer as well? Hope you understand my english. :o)

  • Your english is perfect!

A tinded moisturiser would be perfect for you. If you don't really need coverage, like you have even skin tone, it's the perfect option. A lot of brands have foundation products for people with dry skin. Try Clinique.

If I wear tinted moisturiser, I don't normally set it with powder, because I am wanting a very very very natural look. You can set it with a small amount of blotting powder though, if you want to ensure it stays put.

  • my younger sis needs help, she has acne and has dry skin at the same time, when she applys foundation it seems to flake and looks really dry after applying..what can she do?tried moisturizing....anything else?

  • First of all, exfoliation is really important. I gently scrub my face with a face towel and cleanser before I apply makeup. I have combination skin, so I go through periods of having dry skin. Straight after I exfoliate, I moisturise.

There are foundation and moisturisers that are designed specifically for dry skin, and acne prone skin. (Although, this is not a common combination!) I will do some research, and include it in my "Ask Me" page on my website next week.

  • I get my makeup from beauty counters at department stores, from specialist makeup stores (like theatrical makeup stores), ebay, online.

  • hey how much do you think it would cost for every item that you hav listed please get back to me A.S.A.P.

  • Hmmmm... different prices in Australia, because of our crazy luxury taxes. Usually double what the makeup costs in the states. It's hard to answer too!

Ummm.... hundreds of dollars. There are always cheaper alternatives. I spent most money on foundation, mascara and liquid liner. And the rest you can use cheaper brands.

  • OMGSH! i love all of your videos! when are you going to make another video?

  • Website and magazine is launching Friday. So my next video will be up on Saturday, I think.... or maybe FRiday evening.

  • Do You Know Anything About Applying Foundations, Conselors, Or Powders If I Have dry skin, i normally use a skin cream before applying theese things but my skin is still all dry and blotchy after i have applied It can you help me at all please. :)

  • There are certain products designed for dry skin, from moisturisers, to foundations. My number one tip for dry skin is to make sure you exfoliate and moisturise immediately after hopping out of the shower. By exfoliating, I mean use a cleanser for dry skin on your face, and gently scrub with a face towel. This will help with blotchiness and flaked makeup.

If you don't need much coverage from your foundation, tinted moisturisers would be a good solution too.

  • i think you voice is pretty,it's not like the real heavy acent you can't understand, your videos are great too.:)

  • you are sooo pretty!, and i love your tutorials!

  • please tell me where you get the mac make up and all those brushes.

  • Most of the stuff I buy is from department stores, except I like to go to the Mac store to buy my Mac stuff, because you get the full range of product there.

My brushes are Napoleon Perdis, and I do use some Mac brushes.

You can get Mac from Myer, and some David Jones stores.

  • i am also australian!

please tell me whre you get all your makeup from, i need to know!

  • whats the difference between a primer and a moisturiser..i also wanted 2 ask bout applying eyeliner....i alwayz had difficulty applying it and so i settled 4 kohl on the inner lower eyelid..but i'd really like 2 know how 2 apply it on the outside without creating a mess or a non continuous line

  • Primer is different to moisturiser. The purpose of moisturiser is to hydrate the skin. Primer doesn't do this at all, it creates a smooth layer between your skin and foundation. It means that your foundation goes on a little more evenly and it makes it last longer.

And I will do a video talking about eyeliner application. :)

  • what are ur thoughts on primers?

  • An essential. I completely forgot to talk about them in this video!!! A few people have raised that. I use Mac's prep and prime skin base visage, and I've been sent some samples of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer.

Both acheive the same results, in my opinion. But the texture of the Smashbox one is sooooooo amazing.

  • Is dream matte mouse any good? I have quite oily skin

  • Probably not good if you have oily skin. Try Stila's convertibles for really good cream blushes. You can use them on your lips too. Love them!

  • wow i luv u!!

ur gorgeous, wish i could make up myself like u :(

    ur hair's awesome ;)

  • For the Napoleon Concealer, is it oil free? Again senstive skin and i just like to stay away from things with too many additives or that could cause acne :)

  • No, it is oil based. They use oils in most concealers because it helps the product glide on smoothly for such a sensitive area on your face.

I don't know of an oil free concealer off hand, I'd have to look into it. But a concealer I suggest, that has a lot of goodies in it, like Vitamin A and E and antioxidants is Bobby Brown's Creamy Concealer.

    Maybe try clinique too.

  • OMGOSH YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS.

I LOVE YOUR HAIR AND YOUR OUTFIT.

    AND YOUR ACCENT!

    haha :)

    your so cute.

  • Hi Amy. I have a few problems. First...I could never put on mascara, its always messy. I'm jealous whenever I see women somewhere who have mascara on and it looks perfect :-(. Second...My bottom lashes are so stubborn, they go to different direction, and some part (at the corner of my eye) it went all the way to the opposite direction. I tried to brush it but it doesn't work. Do you have any suggestion for my problems? hehe.....thanks in advance

  • Hmmmm... interesting. Can you email me a pic so I can have a look?

I had a friend that had the most perfect eyelashes on one eye, and unruly eyelashes on the other eye!!! It took patience, mascara and a wand brush, and sometimes tweezers! (not to pluck them out, but to try and move them!)

  • I went on the Napoleon website and I noticed that the brushes have a specific letter and number assigned to each one (such as g4, g8, etc). Which one are you using for your eyeshadow. It's the one that you use quite often for applying color on to the brow bone.

  • I think the brushes have changed since I used them. I bought my brush roll about 6 years ago.

    I think it's 9b, and I also like the look of 9a.

  • Hey, what do you think of Sacha Cosmetics eyeshadows? I kind of thinking of buying a buying palette from them. 28 shades, 12"x6", about $100.

  • I've never heard of Sasha Cosmetics before. Have you tried any of them before. Try buying one, a colour that you'd use all the time (like a neutral off white, or black) and see how you like it before spending all the money. Also check out ww w dot makeupalley dot com. It's a forum where people do reviews on cosmetics. You'll find every product there!

  • cool

  • i love your top! where did u get it?:)

  • It was from a shop called Supre. I love it to. It looks vintage!

  • you are beautiful girl !

and i think your makeup is brilliant,

    amazing advice!

    xoxo.

  • hey amy.

you are definitely one of the most beautiful people i have ever seen :D.

i absolutely love your natural and classy look, your beauuutiful black hair and your wonderful oh-la-la body. seriously, i cannot stop looking at you, haha

you have such a nice personality that shines through.

keep up the good work, you are so talented.

    have a nice day.

  • Thank you very much. That is really sooooo kind of you to say. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Thank you so much Amy. Walking my way to the mall to Sephoras and the MAC counter. Might I say I <3 your videos and I think you are SO SO Pretty. Hope you enjoy your New Year!!

  • Hey Amy! I got a lot of the stuff you mentioned in your video, and I especially LOVE the Napoleon loose dust powder in sand beige, I don't see how I can live without it now! Today my sister got some MAC pigment loose powder in the color melon and it doesn't compare at all to napoleon loose dust at all! I'll definitely be getting my eye shimmers from napoleon from now on!

  • I'm glad you're happy with it! I agree, it's a great and versatile colour. And it goes on really easily. Some of the mac pigments, you have to use mixing medium or wet your brush in order for the pigment to go on well.

  • if i could look like anyone in the world i would look like u i think ur stunning!! =)

ur videos r amazing and u always give such brilliant advice ur great xoxox

  • Omigod! What an amazing thing to say. Thank you so much. I've had such an awful day/week/month! But today I've been really down, and it's so nice of you to say this to me. Thank you, princess!

  • where can you buy napoleon products

  • From Sephora both instore and online. And you can buy his stuff from his website. He also stocks all around the US in boutique stores, and he's openee his own store on Hollywood Blvd, CA.

  • thank you i love all your videos

  • hey amy i love your videos they are good and you explain everything to a tee. I just wanted to ask about the Napoleon San Shimmer no. 17 I was on the website and the only no.17 I foung was for Silver Grey not Sand Shimmer. I thank you for introducing me to Napoleon I think his products are very good. Thanks alot for everything.

  • Oops! It's number 37!!! I have to change that. Thanks for telling me.

  • heeey amy i love the help with the videos well i saw this MAC prouduct and its called "Studio Mist Foundation" now whats up with that, would that be really hard to clean up, is really goin to be easy to apply, would you use sometihng like that, and how would you use it welll THANKS A WHOLE BUNCH

    -Rochelle

  • I don't know! I want to give it a go. Hmmmm.... I'll look into whether they're selling it in Australia. I'd be interested in buying it.

When I do, I'll let you all know what I think of it.

    Thanks for writing to me!

  • i have that i have sooooo much mac make-up and i love it!

  • Hyee Amy!

You're so nice to be showing all your beatuy tricks!

I'm kinda of a newbie in makeup, i'd like to ask how to get that dewy, glowing skin i see in some mags. WHat type of foundation is most suitable?

    -thx-

  • I'm curious about the Chi Chi Red lip pencil. I cannot find this particular brand on the net or in the US/ Any hints? And i love love love your make up tutorials, Amy!!! They are fabulous!!

  • I bought a similar coloured red lip pencil the other day.... thinking thinking.... what brand.... I had a rummage through my makeup kit and I think I left it at my grandparent's place over Christmas! Dang!

I think Chi Chi is a sort of cheaper Australian brand. I will have a look into where it's sold and get back to you on that.

  • hey Amy i was just wondering wat eye liner is good for under eye i like to put it in my lower eye i was just wondering wats the best one thanks

  • I'm really keen to get Stila's Kajal eyeliner. I am hearing great things about it. Do spend a tad more money and get an eyeliner from a trusted brand that does opthamological tests with their products. For something that is going inside the eye like that, you need to be careful.

  • hey your so beautiful n thanks 4 d gr8 tips love beki xmwahx

  • i noticed you have quite a few inglot eyeshadows that i've seen in ur various videos...do you think inglot is a good brand?

  • I have two inglot shimmers. I like the shimmers. I'm not too crazy about the pressed shadows though.

  • i just got into makeup and i wanted to know if you can make a video with a subtle natural look for the eyes and also what is concealer? thank you!!!

  • Concealer is a thicker consistency than foundation... and usually oilier and glides very smoothly. It's used to cover any pimples or spots, and under eye dark circles.

  • Hi Amy!

I have a question, you know at the start of the section when you start to talk about foundation, theres a picture of a green foundation. Coudld you tell me what thats for?

I love all your videos! Keep up the good work!

    x

  • There isn't any green foundation in this video. But if you are curious about green concealer, it's best used for red areas/spots (and hickies... as I once... and only once.... ever had to conceal and hide from mum as a teen!). Hahahahhaa. I learnt my lesson!

  • ooppsss..found it!!

  • hello amy!!!!!!!...do aou have a tut for this look??.. i loove it..and it really looks fantastic on oyu =)

hope to see more mu tut!! =)

    take care =)

  • this probably sounds like a dumb question, but you always say "we" in your videos. Who's we? Are you working in a company? just wondering. I absolutely adore your videos, the looks are clean and sophisticated.

  • Do I? The videos are filmed by me, edited by me, all makeup by me, all styling by me. But there are other people involved with different aspects. My business is expanding and a have a small team of people who are involved in the expansion. But all the youtube stuff is all me.

  • i love your accent so cute

  • I noticed some of the make-up you use is by Napoleon Perdis and I was just wondering if his make-up is available in the UK?

  • THat's a good question. I am going to contact Napoleon, because I get so many questions like this. I will find out for you.

  • This is so cute! Tip: you said the powder pigments give hard-to-replicate metallic looks; actually, Urban Decay makes some SERIOUSLY shimmery, pressed metallic shadows that really give the same effect, and they're super long-lasting.

  • Oh great. I'll look into it. We don't get Urban Decay here anymore. I know of one bargain basement place that sells it!

  • I agree with the UD, love love love their shadows, espec. YDK (nuetral taupe with a gorgeous gleam to it) but really most of their shadows are awesome

  • u said something about adding moisturizer or sparkle to foundation- can u explain that more in detail, like how much to put in or how etc?

    please and thank you

  • I'll do a video on it soon. I've been wanting to demonstrate this a little better.

  • where can you get white eye liner?

  • My pencil is by Napoleon Perdis. Mac sell them. Ummmm.... I see them everywhere.

  • Barry M do some really nice white eyeliner. Sorry if that question wasn't intended for me but it's good and costs practically pennies :)

  • No, I invite input. Thank you.

  • hi amy! hv u heard about bloom cosmetic? it is from australia aite? hv u tried any bloom cosmetic like lip gloss, etc.. izzit good? laura mercier concealer...izzit good to cover dark circle? thanx :)

  • I have had some bloom stuff in the past. I've never liked her eyeshadows enough to buy them, but I love the lip glosses and the skin, hand and foot stuff.

I haven't used Laura Mercier concealer in a while. I use Mac. If my under eye cirles are particularly dark, I use a colour corrective concealer by Mehron- opting for a yellow concealer or a salmon concealer.

  • this is great video. keep them coming. I love them. : )

  • stupid question possibly, but does concealer cover pimples?

  • Yes it does. I prefer to cover my pimples with stick foundation personally. Sometimes concealer is quite oily (so it's easy to apply under the eye), but I don't like it being so oily on top of a pimple area that's already having oil issues!

But generally, people use concealer to cover pimples.

  • Nice accent.

  • Just watched your Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's video :) Can't wait to watch more of your videos! You have inspired me to invest in more brushed. Also, are you actually a makeup artist in real life?

  • It's not my full time job anymore, but I'm looking to invest more time into it now due to the success of Ask Me Makeup. Keep a watch out for my website as it develops. I've got some exciting things coming up!

  • This was really good! I already had most of that stuff, but for people who aren't sure this was great! And you're so cute! lol You are absolutely gorgeous! You glow and your personality really comes through on the camera. Great job!

  • What could you recommend for me im black and white and my skin is a medium tone and i have brown hair and light brown eyes. idk im kind of bad at eyeshadow too ive been using like a pinkish blush and stuff but idk i wanna go with something different!!!

  • I have a couple of brown eyed models with sort of medium brown skin coming up in the new year. Send me your photo if you like to askmemakeup at hotmail dot com, so I can get a better understanding of your colouring and eyes, etc. I'd like to answer you better.

  • OMG!!!!! YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL

  • I love your curves. You're lovely.

  • i hvae green/hazel eyes, with pale skin and red hair, what shades of eyeshadow and lipstick would you recommend for me?

  • Most of the colours I use on my model Megan will suit you.

You could go with colours like green, browns, golds, turquoise, pastel colours like a soft purple, soft blue. And lipstick, you could get away with red lipstick, and of course neutral colours.

  • i luv blending colours together on my eyes. itz fun and easy to make a nice colour! xx

  • what color eyeshadow and make up would you recomend for blue eyed blondes? other than brown

  • Anything orange based will be the perfect compliment to your eyes. So peaches, bronze, copper or even orange itself! Pink usually looks nice on blue eyes (depending on skin colour), and purples look good on practically everyone.

  • you're a lifesaver! I just watched your videos and fell in love with your work! and I want to ask you something; I have almond shaped eyes and so I have what they call "double eyelid". because of this shape it is nearly impossible for me to apply eyeshadow or at least make it visible when I apply eyeshadow. can you help me please?

  • I'm working on getting models for an asian makeup video. Just trying to organise all of that. Hopefully I can have a video up soon.

  • where to use the bronzer?

  • I actually use bronzer as blush. Or a SMALL amount for contouring under the cheek bone. I don't go crazy with bronzer because I think it makes your face look dirty. I also go for a bronzer that has a lot of gold shimmer to it.

  • as far as foundation goes.. which do u apply first? the liquid or powder?

  • Liquid first. Powder is used to set the liquid foundation.

Check out my foundation application video. You'll see the whole process there.

  • I think your videos are amazing! I had a question, the L'Oreal Glam Shine no. 49 Lycee Sorbet isnt available here in the states as far as I know. Is there another color you might recommend?

  • Hmmm... I'll have to look around for an alternative.

  • oh how I love you <3

  • You're really good at demonstrate it. I love your videos, they're very informative and useful, especially for a girl like me ;-). I agree with other ppl, you look pretty even without make up. Thanks for posting. Btw I know you're from Australia but you kinda look like Indonesian in some ways, are you mixed? sorry if its out of topic

  • Ding ding ding... you've picked it. My dad is Indonesian and my mum is German.

  • OMG, I knew it ;-). Do you speak Indonesian at all? I'm pure Indonesian live in the US. I'd like to ask you some advice, I'll e-mail you later. I know you probably get lots and lots of e-mails, but please remember my name "Widya", thats what I'm gonna put on the title. Thanks

  • No, I don't speak Indonesian. I used to do some modelling and tv work in Indonesia a few years ago, and started learning, but I've forgotten everything now!!!! Isn't that bad? I'm learning french now!

  • wow that such a beautiful mixture

thats why ur so stunning :) lol

  • You probably get this a lot but I love your voice! It's very soothing. ^__^ And thanks for the video, it really helped a lot. =)

  • what MAC or other american product can I use to get loose glitter to stay on eyes? and how can i get creamy glitter to not crease?

  • Shimmer or actual glitter? Just to clarify?

  • actual glitter, not in like an eyeshadow.

  • glitter

  • Use lash glue like Lashgrip or Duo, to make glitter stay on the eyes. It can feel a little heavy on the eyelids, if you're not used to it. I wouldn't use creamy glitter, because it will crease. You could go for glitter eyeliners over the top of shadow instead. I believe NYX has some good ones.

  • Omg, you looked really pro in make up. i love your videos. The way you speak and you how you explained things. It's just so easy to understand. Thank you so much

  • I love your vidoes sooo much..especially how you explain things so easily...u get me?Lol

    Meery Xmas Everyone!

Ps amy.. any videos for the xmas season?

  • Well I just did my Christmas tree video! And I'm going to do 2 Christmas makeup looks.

  • Yay!I need a really christmassy look for the xmas party at work..so ill be looking forward to them!:P

  • How did you do your makeup for this video? I love it!

  • It's the "Neutral Casual Smokey Eye" video. It's tagged as a video response to this video.

  • Thanks! And thanks for the quick response!

  • wow...are you a makeup artist???...your makeup looks soo professional♥

  • do you have any video for a person completely new to make up?

  • I try to make the steps in my video as basic as possible. I will do videos on teen makeup which will be much more basic and simple than this. Just waiting on a teen model.

  • I just love the classic music choices in every video!

    Too fabulous!

  • I really love the music you use in your videos. It adds to the whole experience. The editing is great too, do you do it yourself?

  • Yes I do! Editing is fun! Oh, I'm such a nerd!

  • AMY, In this video what makeup did u use for your lips and eye shadow??

  • There's a video of this whole makeup look. Check out "Neutral Casual Smokey Eye Makeup". It's attached as a video response to this video. See the little thumbnail, me looking goofy and cross eyed!

  • Love your tutorials shame that you use mostly Napoleon products, i cant get it where i am from :( what would be a close subsitute? MAC? or another brand?

  • Napoleon is similar to Mac.

I think eyeshadow shades, and foundations are very personal choices. I can point you in a direction, but each shade will ultimately depend on your skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, how it oxidises, etc. I like to show a general shade you can use, and then you can choose the same product or something similar.

  • Thanks Amy for your help, and keep up the good work!

  • your so beautiful :) thank you for the tips lovely!

    xoxo

  • hey um have u tried tha laura mercier foundation bc i heard it gives u flawless skin and i was thinkin bout buyin it but if uhave tried it can ya tell me how it was?? plz..thz

  • Hi Amy!

this video is precious thanks for that! I wanted to know if you has tries moistureblend from MAC because I use studio fix liquid foundation and now I find it very drying to my skin.

Let me know if you have

    thanks again :D

  • Oh wow, i've not heard that before. But I think foundations are very personal, and different brands and products suit different people. I haven't tried moistureblend. Maybe take a look at Enkoremakeup's 2 foundation videos where he looks at all different mac foundations. It's so thorough.

  • You're right I've just watched it and it confirms what I thought: I'm going to try moistureblend for a week and see how it goes ^^ Maybe my skin is dry becaus of the winter it's chilly right now in France!

Thanks Amy (and Koren of course!)
