What I will say is that Mozart had some distinct advantages.

Firstly tempered tuning in historic terms had only just been invented so much greater chordal and melodic ideas were available

Secondly,one can't deny that Mozart had alot more melodies to choose from.

In the 1970s I moved into a new neighborhood & became best friends with a kid up the block. He started playing piano at the age of 3 (& composing not too long after). By the time I had moved in, he'd been playing for about 4 years. He could play it all, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, you name it. Everytime I went over to his house to play, he would interrupt our playing with his piano practice. Once he offered to teach me to play, but like an idiot I turned him down. Today he plays all over the world

For my thoughts, she's beyond all grades! Grading is such that it's to see how far has one Tame the Piano beast. But for Emily, Piano has already sounded like her pet and she has absolute command! .....Or the Piano has become merely an extension of her thoughts and feelings...
