World has gone wrong. Everything is so fast paced, so professional, so dehumanised nowadays. How much nicer was it back then - champions sported long hair, combed it before matches or read news papers, played with wooden frames (nature) a slower and more graceful game. Embraced one another after a match. So what that they would be beaten to pulp if pitted against todays professional athletes? This is beautifully old school. Me likes a lot.
@tomaszek888 I completely agree. The new game of tennis I watch from time to time but it's just less exciting to me. Would love to see the new guys have a wooden tournament, and make them wear some piece of shit shoes, too.
tennis was so much more entertaining then and Im not just being nostalgic, I was only one! serve - volley, wooden rackets, I'd love to watch federer v nadal with those rackets and balls! just to see how different it'd look.
