It amazes me that the text "let our meagre songs" could ever apply to something Bach wrote!!! If he was "meagre", then I am not even close! Thank you for uploading this work. It was very enjoyable. BRIAN

Who are the soloists?
The soprano is quite good, but she's a little too sharp.
Overall it's a very good rendition of this masterwork of Bach

Aren't sir Gardiner and his ensembles the greatest performer of Bach's music? When I listen to them, I think I could fly!!!

This work is beastly difficult and Gardiner and his group do a remarkable job of breathing life into this masterpiece.
