It's an idea for a Sonic game I had. It would be Unleashed Day Level style, but the game would be concentric around the idea that if Sonic spends enough time running through an environment, he is able to use that element to his advantage (he could gain fire abilities by running through a lava zone, and could subsequently use it to his advantage in, say, a jungle level, to burn down ivy blocking his path or something like that).
