In Civ IV, we see the rocket arrive and the colonists awake.

In Civ II, we see the colonists have built a city under a glasslike dome.

In Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, we get to play as those colonists!

@gamexmasterxfire Matter doesn't have a mass of 0 in space, it has a weight of near 0. Weight is the mass of an object (which never changes, anywhere) multiplied by the gravitational field strength it is sitting in.

Matter can't travel at light speed because to accelerate to that speed requires infinite amounts of energy.
