Most people start out by using johveds repack instead of some sucky server. I myself use "some sucky server" just for stability. (Actually my own server). And yes i use heidisql "and such". and when johved is not up to date, people most likely make it up to date. It's not that hard.

Hey, i have a problem ive ben struggling with for a couple days.

Im using ascent, so i shouldnt be here, but i have this problem that i load the SQL file into the database, all nice and smooth, it just doesnt appear in the game.

I suspect that i typed a code wrong somewhere, that i cant find the problem, plz help.

try restarting the server by closing all the CMD windows, then start it up and log in. if that doesnt work, clear ur Cache

Re downloading always fixes the problems, but first be sure you've launched mySQL when you do it (And Download as Arc-emu)(And import via User Control Panel)

May be because it's already running - Ctrl Alt Delete, Open Task Manager, Go under Processes, Find "Mysql-nt" and end it.

The EntryID is just the thing you write in game to Spawn it. Make it over 50000 to be sure that there isn't any other item you overwrite :D

Example: .char additem 4939393 (if 4939393 is your entryID)

When i make my weapon (downloading from all 4 links to test it) i open up SQL importer from the user control panel and try each 4 download by downloading it, right clicking it, opening in notepad then copy pastin it into the SQL importer i click import and it says: "Error could not import query!". now obviously im eager to get my own made weapons but i would not just look at this then give up.... i have done some research before i entered this comment (read on to next comment)

Under the Config file Arcemu-World is a place where you should write Allowed IP's. Write your ip adresse in there and it should work!

Be sure that you have Mysql up and running before trying to import. Also be sure that the EntryID you used is not already in use for some item blizzard made!

Well try to make a simple item with the displayid of 900000 (Remember the 5 zeros) and see if it can do it. Else you've forgotten to start the MySQL. If you can't start your MySQL(If it bugs or errors) do the following thing:

Go into taskmanager at Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Go Under processes

Find the one named mysql-nt

End Process

Try again

Remember, its not the Displayid its the EntryId
