Didn't New Moon end up getting a bigger budget than Twilight. The special effects looked a whole lot better in New Moon (especially the sparkle effect).
I agree with you, they really need to take more time to make this movie, and up the budget, like you said thats what Catherine wanted. I feel as if they are doing this on purpose, just to make even more money, since they knew how much fans loved the Twilight movie, they are probably thinking oh they're going to love the movie anyways no matter how bad it is. So lets just keep the budget low so that we make more money. Because they know we are all gonna see it anyways. But thats just my opinion.
well first thing im gonna be pissed if they end up replacing the character jacob with someone else. the second thing is im happy that the old director is leaving mainly cause in the movie she never captivated me i was bored through the whole movie until the baseball part, but after that was over i was back to being bored. third thing is it may be a good thing a man's outlook/idea is in the movie but i do think it should also be directed with a woman since it reaches out to mostly teen girls.

oh i already found that out and i am really happy to hear that and all but im very nterested in seeing how theyre going to make taylor look 21+ and much taller cause if they do it wrong he could end up looking fucked up which may be the problem that im concerned about so im hoping for a grood movie :) *fingers crossed*
~but usually in short time frames to do a movie thats made from a really big book is hard so im not expecting nothing extremely great about it
i didnt say it was i said it mostly reaches out to teen girls which is true cause u would see more teen fan girls screaming I Love Twight or I Love You Robert Pattinson (edward cullen) OR if u went to the comic con u would mostly see teen girls there and young women thats in their 20's or so. i do do know older ppl read t and love the book too ~man woman doesnt matter~ it just that majority of the audience is teen girls

i was so upset when i heard the jacob thing, too because now taylor is jacob, when i see him i think jacob, and i love jacob! it's going to be quite dissapointing if they make him leave!

I fell asleep during Golden Compass, but I watched the majority of it and it was a really good movie. My husband loved it. So, I think New Moon will be better. Catherine wasn't cut out for the job (I mean she had what under her belt? 13.) They said the reason they hired her was because she could get into a 13 year olds head amazingly so she would work well with teenagers (in Twilight.) So, I personally don't think she had enough experience. I think the move will be tons better it will be weird..

I want to see the best movie they can make - if it means take a few more months doing post-production, etc then they should take it ya know...
