Even though i personally think Vampire's are not real, The Vampire Diaries seem more realistic, like how they have fangs, and if they go in the sunlight they burn, like in any normal Vampire story, Twilight just seems...fake, i found it bogus when the Director said he didn't want the Vampires to have fangs... like.... that spoils it, i mean you gotta have fangs. Though i went to watch Breaking Dawn Part 1 and thought it was absolutely AMAZING. I choose THE VAMPIRE DIARIESSSS!!

Elena is a strong girl who has her own opinions and doesn't always obey what Stefan says, she is stubborn and independent. she is a good role model.
Bella is a Mary-Sue who is supposed to be the most normal girl. But not every girl has 2 guys after her hmmm... and she is totally dependent of Edward. She is more like his baby and when they break up she jumps off a cliff and goes numb for monhs. She is not a good role model for anyone!

Twilight=Hardly any character development but the way it was worded made me want to spend a day reading 1 book. Movie=FAIL! Kristen Stewart sounds a bit emotionless. Vampire diaries ftw!!! I'm not being a fanboy or whatever, but Twilight is so fucking BORING. I can't stand it. I watch about half of it and I end up never continuing. TVD is so entertaining and has suspense, and it leaves you wanting more.
With the heroines, Elena is better. Bella looks like she's always tired and lifeless but Elena's always on the go and willing to do some action. Plus, its a great factor that she didn't dump her friends for a vampire boyfriend.

VD books are nothing like the series, there are waaaay too many differences- but kudos to the writers!!! They took a 20 yr old book, modernized the underlying plot and made it into a kick A series that a wider range of people can enjoy (Including my fiance) I actually can watch the series more than once...I can't stand to do that with the Twilight series.
I just checked my book Vampire Diaries the Awakenings-it was copy written in 1991! That makes it almost 20 yrs old! How ever the first two books are like the box car children version book about Vampires. Cell phones weren't in common use then and it was still normal to know a guy named "Dick".
Stephanie Meyer is a genious when it comes to dialog- but no matter how much money and make up they put into it the actors are cheesy and this has to be one of the worst books to movies I've seen.
Hallo, ich hatte die ganz große Erwartung an Twilight und bin echt enttäuscht. Vampire diarys ist tausendmal besser. Meine Tochter hat zuerst Twilight gesehen und war hin und weg. Vampires wurde im letzten Jahr erstmalig auf Pro7 gezeigt und jetzt findet sie VD auch viel besser. Nächste Woche geht es weiter, endlich!

Actually I'd have never thought that in your crazy sensless videos you'll actually say sg what's this damn true. About Bella/ Elena ( you gotto realise though vamp diaries books were out before twilight, and btw. Elena is a completely different person in them. She is literaly a bitch, a school queen ordering everyone around. Nothing like Bella (sadboredworried girl)) but its really true that both shows send the message that you have to be said on order to get laid...XD. Good luck with that!

With the heroines, Elena is better. Bella looks like she's always tired and lifeless but Elena's always on the go and willing to do some action. Plus, its a great factor that she didn't dump her friends for a vampire boyfriend.

lol everybody agrees that VD is better than twilight :) for people watching the tv show only, GO AND READ THE BOOK. Its better. there are a lot of differences: how can tv directors make the mistake and make Elena a brunette??? Its like making Ron Weasly a blonde. thats a terrible mistake!

VD books are nothing like the series, there are waaaay too many differences- but kudos to the writers!!! They took a 20 yr old book, modernized the underlying plot and made it into a kick A series that a wider range of people can enjoy (Including my fiance) I actually can watch the series more than once...I can't stand to do that with the Twilight series.

I just checked my book Vampire Diaries the Awakenings-it was copy written in 1991! That makes it almost 20 yrs old! How ever the first two books are like the box car children version book about Vampires. Cell phones weren't in common use then and it was still normal to know a guy named "Dick".
Stephanie Meyer is a genious when it comes to dialog- but no matter how much money and make up they put into it the actors are cheesy and this has to be one of the worst books to movies I've seen.

Hallo, ich hatte die ganz große Erwartung an Twilight und bin echt enttäuscht. Vampire diarys ist tausendmal besser. Meine Tochter hat zuerst Twilight gesehen und war hin und weg. Vampires wurde im letzten Jahr erstmalig auf Pro7 gezeigt und jetzt findet sie VD auch viel besser. Nächste Woche geht es weiter, endlich!
