a very strong simile opens the poem and the dead ends and lost corners turned and lost in a relationship but the surprisingly sweet ending gives it added strength

My goodness, this is some good stuff, and I can totally relate to this poem you did in this video. Great use of words to set the feel and I love the metaphors. I have a cousin who has this gift of poetry, and from what I can see, it's gotta come from the heart or it won't work. You are definetly putting your heart into it.

This poem was one of my favorites that you have done. It is quick pace, yet makes one think deeply as you speak. This poem has both sorrow and a solemnness about it. It id sincere in its presentation, which is something I think lost in a lot of performance poetry now.
