  • they are not gods of rock. they are gods of METAL!!

  • DEF LEPPARD 4LIFE !

  • It's been over 20 years since that song was written . . . and we are still fighting for the gods of war.

"We counted on America to be passive...we counted wrong" - 9-1-1

  • Love the song, love the band! There is no other band that even comes CLOSE. They stand alone in the ranks!

  • i love this video!

    <3

i'm a die hard leppard fan..and this totally rocks!

i like the picture of Joe in the Women of Doom t-shirt

    :D

    i own one!

  • i pretty much think anything they do is bloody brilliant

  • Thats pretty cool what you did here.

  • I LOVE THEM!!!

  • my favorites among many for many years, after

1990's they sort didnt sound like Def Leppard

anymore or i changed..not sure but still

    they are the best........

so unique in their music can tell them a mile away...

  • i agree

  • def leppard is truly the gods of rock and this song is great

  • i hate pop-metal because it was so generic, but Def Leppard made great music and i love them

  • now you meant that DL are the gods of rock right? cuz the song is gods of war....just curious....good job though

  • yes

  • ok thanx...great video

  • Def Leppard were the first band I got into back in 1988, I saw them live in Melbourne 1992. They are my favourite band and will always rock!

  • Awesome song. I just can't believe how many pearlers were on Hysteria!!!

  • hey love the vid. =]

  • thank you!

  • wut the hell is ur problem?

  • whatever. im gonna raid ur house and destroy it. & while im at it ill kick ur ass

  • you are one crazy little person. and don't think i'm not prepared for a raiding of my house. i'll know what you'll do cos i always saw you when we would raid Karen's house. haha

  • i like the part where they are all wearing shorts. its kinda funny

  • Bow down to the person who created this awsome video and Def Leppard is still the best 80's Heavy Metal Band and I'm glad that the Hysteria Cd is a double deluxe edition so I hope they make with Pyromania and the other cd too! What do u think???

  • they are hair metal . They made it and they own it, most of the other hairbands were just a cheap imitation. Bon Jovi never sold more, maybe to date in a grand total, but thats different

  • Bon Jovi have sold 120 million albums worldwide while Def Leppard have sold only 70 million albums worldide. In fact, I agree with your first point there, franckdatank.

  • True enough, but when considering the greatest band/artist of any era, one must take into account talent. While Jon Bon Jovi is by far the better frontman (not to take away from Joe, but Jon is incredible), the rest of the band really pales in comparisson. Steve Clark and Phil Collen are one of the best guitar duos ever. Collen being a technical wizard, and Clark being that God-like guitar hero. And Rick Allen, even with one arm is still hailed as one of rock's best drummers.

  • Bon Jovi never made a complete album even half as good as Hysteria.

  • That's because Hysteria is the ultimate pop-metal album.

  • It's not so much the quantity in this case as the quality. In other words, fuck Bon Jovi!

  • Yeah, Def Leppard Wasn't Really A Hair Metal Band, They Was More Glam Rock. You Know LIke Poison Was.

  • The only reason you say Def Leppard are not hair metal is because they were a New Wave Of British Heavy Metal act like Iron Maiden. I think you people are all so fucked-up that you just don't want to believe tthe actual truth.

  • The Only Reason Why I Said It Was Because I Got It From Dee Snider Sayin' It On The House Of Hair

  • You guys are both retarded but Def Lepardis not a hair band they are a kick ass rok band who sold more recoords then tons of hair bands sales togather!

Hair bands rock tho...skid row and RATT 4 life!!

  • Bon Jovi sold more records than Def Leppard.

  • Skid Row were originally a hair band, but when they issued their two 1990s albums: 1991's Slave To The Grind and 1995's Subhuman Race, they started sounding like Pantera.

  • What a great song rock on

  • Dude check out slamrjamr2000 on youtube with def leppard....like unbeleivable...dude!

  • The ultimate hair metal band, Def Leppard are. I consider this band a good act to listen to when you're driving on the road.

  • Dude, whats wrong with you!? Def Leppard are NOT a hair metal band for god sake! Geez. Hair metal is a product of less talented bands.

  • If you look up many lists of hair metal bands, Def Leppard will be in that category.

  • And those lists would be wrong. Def Lep formed in '77. They did not create hair bands or become one. Just a great rock band. Do you want to put VH in a hair band category??

  • You're just stupid.

  • One more thing, what about Bon Jovi? They were hair metal and talented. Def Leppard influenced hair bands. I wouldn't consider bands like Guns N' Roses as a hair metal band because they played retro-type rock. I wouldn't put Van Halen in because they were one of the acts that set the prototype for hair acts.

  • wow, sweet comeback. "you're stupid". Likewise though. Any you really have no clue. Bon jovi is a hair band no argument there. you need to get your facts straight. VH started at a very similiar time to DL and DL's stuff was much better in fact while VH was still very good. Hair bands created themselves when they could not become the more talented bands.

  • They all wanted to be a DL or a VH of the time but did not have that kind of talent. They needed that extra something to get noticed and had no longevity.

  • Did you know Van Halen influenced Def Leppard?

  • yeah dude....Gods of Rock!!!
