Hold down the on/off button and the home button at the same time, and continue to hold (even through the apple logo) until you see the connect to iTunes logo. Then connect to iTunes, restore, AND WATCH THE VIDEO RESPONSE!

so , how do i uninstall customized? i downloaded it via Utilities > Customized .. while installig , i got a error , something like "error with installing main script". i don't see customized in my uninstall list but it's on my frontpage.

First try to restart the ipod and see if it does away with the icon. Second if that doesn't work just go back into installer and install the package again (you said it's not in uninstall so you should be able to install again) and then it will work. BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOWNLOADING Customize 2.0.0RC1.3 that's the LATEST customize! GOOD LUCK!

you don't need to enter a source, this video is old, before they made the official release this was how to get the beta version. Just watch my video response to this, and you'll be able to install customize 2.0. GOOD LUCK!

download the summerboard app (see my other vid) and wenever u download something from customize it will show up in the themes section as "customize" select that and it will use ur customize theme
