  • Thanks for the post. I was the bass player in the vid.

What a grueling, fun tour that was.

  • Saw them in So Cal back in the day a few times. Limey Dave and Don Sugarcane Harris were great front men and the whole band was excellent. I still have this song on 7"

  • fuck i'd be getting down!

  • I saw them twice in Phoenix and was blown away by the range of music they could play.

  • big pat on the back and well deserved pint ! great job whoever posted this. i saw these guys probably on the same tour here in Montreal. It was unforgettable and mind-blowing. I guess you really had to be there. But Tupelo toured pretty hard so we were lucky.Funny they never broke. Guess they were before their time. Anyways - great to see some footage of a band that marked me.

  • Saw them back in the day at the Pyramid.Definately an amazing live show! The electric fiddle rips!

  • great

  • Yes! Yes! Sugarcane could Rock'n Roll as much as he could play the blues!

    So much energy!

    Thanx For The Post!

  • Whoa! Thanks!

Tupelo were such a great live act, and unfortunately almost completely forgotten 20 years later: good on yer for posting the evidence.

  • Yes indeed! They didn't have the fiddler when I saw/opened for them: who is he?

  • That's Don "Sugarcane" Harris.

    R.I.P.
