Ive driven both extensively. They are both in a totally different price class and engine class, and honestly the king quad is actually probably more durable and able to do work better than my brute force 650. I own both, and the king is the one used for work. The brute is more of a lighter strength fun utility quad. Its fast, but not built like the king quad, otherwise it SHOULD weigh MORE than the kind quad since it has a MUCH larger engine 280CC vs. 633CC V-twin.
Gotta love the old king quad 300! the one that started it all... IRS, 15 forward and 3 reverse gears, switchable 2x, 4x, and differential lock... the total package. needed a 4-500cc engine though.
yeah i deff love my king quad but its running its last few houndred miles... the batterys junk axels are shit and reverse cable snapped... still debbateing if i wana fix it up or junk it
i have the same quad and just bought a plow. do you have problems plowing a foot of snow?

i have no problem.... even when its thick and heavy... i just put it iun 4x4 low and hit 2nd gear to get it going a little...
when i mad this i had it in 2wd high...

the only prblem i ever get is coldddd starts...so if you can, keep it somewhere warm.

Yes indeed the old KQ's are amazing and reliable.
I still have a couple and I still prefer a manual tranny over a CVT any day.
Although i do enjoy my KQ 450.
