.. ricky didn't mean to do that .. 1st he`s going to pass it but the ball has been deflected by the defender sooo he use his dribbling skills to pass the defnder that means .. ricky rubio has HIGH IQ~.. to do that thing! :D
He'll be a nice pro but no superstar...at least not on his own merit. He's Nash like in his playmaking ability but Nash can also score 30 pts and shoot the lights out in the wide open offense of the Suns and that's why he's impossible to defend. At best, Rubio looks to be another Jose Calderon...which is not a bad thing. But I'm sick of this hype surrounding him like he's the next Kobe/LeBron or somebody like that. Like he can completely change the game. We've seen this act before.
Rubio is already better than Calderon. And the thing is that Calderon is 28 and he's in the NBA, while Rubio is 19 and he's in the ACB. He deleted Jason Kidd being 17, Tony Parker being 18 and now this summer... he will probably play against Nash (Canada) in Turkey. So who knows what will he do when he's like 25?
@u2v3e But what is he going to do when he has to go up against a athletic freak like Derrick Rose, or Deron Williams or CP3? To me he reminds me more of Rondo but he's bigger and can prolly shoot a lil better. Rubio def would be a top PG but in the NBA that's all it is is point guards he has alot of comp! He's as pure of a PG as they come thought and I wish he would come to the NBA.
@chiladin I don't know cause I'm not a futurologist. All I know is that he's 19, so his body is still developing and changes year by year. And, by the way, Rubio guarded CP3 in the Olympics and he definitlely did a great job. And I agree with you, Rubio is more like Rondo.
Rubio is a good player but he's not the star many people make him out to be. He's looks like Jason Williams when he first entered the league. Williams had more flash than anybody at the time. And then folks act like Rubio is doing stuff nobody ever did before. Guys been on the playground doing stuff he does since the early 1990s. I GUARANTEE you he won't be effective playing this way in the NBA.
no sé si en el último toque de balón antes de agacharse a tocarlo a abajo, se le escapa el balón o lo hace así adrede. Lo que si hace él adrede es lo que pasa a continuación. Me gustaría poder ver más tomas desde otros ángulos.
wait, wait! O_O are you saying me, that this movement by Ricky between the other player's legs was intentionally? because when I saw the first time, I thought that Ricky almost lost the ball but finally he could got back it.
Definitely looks intentional. Ricky was trying to atract Eze and give an easy basket to Vazquez but Hawkins didn't stick to Navarro and was cutting the passing line, thus the reverse pass.
