I heard a story just like this where I live, in Sydney Australia. A girl fainted on the platform and as the train was about 100m away, a man jumped down and pushed the girl into the small space "underneath" the platform, and jumped back up onto the platform, just as the train was about to hit him. Both these people have balls of steel.

i know it goes without saying, but people always have this idea of heroes as like the emergency people, the soldiers, etc... which are, definitely heroes. But sometimes, some of the bravest heroes are people who just are in the wrong place at the right time, and risk everything to help a complete stranger. It's amazing...
