But beside the point, i think that combo doesnt work for some reason. im pretty sure the first stun doesnt hold long enough for you to get a second move in. Same with algols...i think this is somewhat off.

this is making me really want my sc4 back... i actually looked forward to the story mode (and creating/customizing characters). the tekken 6 campaign mode is painfully bad and fighting in general, while satisfying to a point, is tedious. with 40 characters and a ton of combos and all sorts of cancels and launches and bounds and all is a bit too much. sc4 had the right balance IMO and (stupid me) I TRADED IT. i have wait till the next SC (if namco doesnt do to sc what they are doing to tekken)...

@ Tobi457 I love SC as much as the next guy, but Tekken really is a harder game to play. There's a lot more to defend upfront, and learning some combos aren't the easiest task... Love them both though!

i play both and i have to say, that the combos in tekken 6 are cool, but even if they aren't, they all look the same. and in soul calibur every char has a special weapon to use, and that makes a fight way more intresting. PLUS soul calibur is way more difficult than tekken, so you'll have more fun with soul calibur

You can pretty much chain all three of Astaroth's Vertical Flame moves together with the Air grab and the laying foot grab at the end, and do about 300% a player's life in Damage. Good Combo Video, but a few characters could have been a lot better. Seong-Mina/Ivy/Tira/Astaroth/Y­oshimitsu/Kilik. But Like I said. Great Video - I favorited it.

Most of the charachters have a few sets of moves that are based around stuns. These 'combos' aren't even difficult to pull of. So really when two slightly-above-average players play whoever gets in the first hit of the combo can clear about 30% damage. You can't even counter/parry/guard impact during the freeze (which is how SC & SC2 used to be), you just sit there and take/dish the beats. True timing comes from the ability to counter any/most moves half way, not this wait for the end stuff.

Combo ( derived from COMBINATION ) is a COMBINATION of consecutive hits that successfully land on the opponent without letting him take a breather.

So given that explanation, using your environment is part of doing COMBOS. ;)

That stage was origanaly on the xbox version. You can get that stage on ps3 by getting yoda.

Also vaders stage (laser gates one) comes with him when you get him on the xbox360.

Since this combo vid was actually made by namco they could use whatever stage they wanted hence why you see yodas stage even though he wasnt made as DLC at the point this vid was made.

No its not. I just tested this under the exact same conditions, nightmare vs siegfried on the exact same stage testing every kind of ukemi and i was able to do it every time. Next time try it out before posting fake facts. And for the record its 236KK not "dash double-kick".

i did try it out, thank you. my friend was able to get up and block it even after being knocked down. trust me, i was very surprised, too, but u can't always count on it working. 90% of the time it will work. and i put "dash double-kick" in quotes because i don't study the vocabulary for SC.

The combo with Zazalamel is not too good, it depends on the position with the the 22 or 88k, it will sometimes make the oponent fall backwards then the 4B wont hit, and even sometimes when it hits the just inpunt misses the target.

Damn those combos look complicated. I can barely do that many hits. I hate Ivy in this game though, no matter how much I lover her new weapon form. You have to do at least one move before you can change to a different one at will. Setsuka also has old moves that are now just-frame moves, which sucks. Maxi can either be seen as a button-masher's wet dream, or a legitimate player's nightmare to master. They don't suck, but they are more complicated to use more than before.
