when i was younger rocky 4 was my favorite of the serie, but growin' up now it's the first and the second, there are so inspirationnal, it help me through my very hard times
It's the best Rocky movie, it's a shame Rocky V sucked so bad.. They should have had a ring fight in it and leave the crappy hiphop music out of it.( Hiphop ain't bad, but it doesn't fit in no Rocky music.) I'm not even gonna watch Rocky 6 cause I know it sucks already..
"Boxing", it should always remain a SPORT. Never a Killer ordeal in which the fighters train to destroy each another. The Beauty in Boxing is how well one opponent can out strategy the other. How well one opponent can dance around the other's moves. How well one opponent can prove his boxing skills against All others. All of which in my view requires tremendous Skills. Rocky took on some virtual "Wrecking Machines" instead of men who were accomplished crowd entertainers and showmen.
This was a good movie....I loved it..! I didn't do so good with the part where Drago did Apollo Creed in tho. I can't explain it but during all the promotions Apollo did in his first movie and the way that Apollo and Rocky became really close and good friends...it really bothered me how Harsh Drago treated Apollo in the movie. Drago was too too intense...! Didn't like Drago at all. But Apollo really won my vote for "Who" he was in Rocky movies.
imo it was the best seyup for the movie that Apollo died, if he didnt it would just be another mr.T kind of movie. when he died it really made the audience wanna get rocky to really fuck him up :), and pretty much made this movie a big succes.

This was a good movie....I loved it..! I didn't do so good with the part where Drago did Apollo Creed in tho.
