hey gonna try this tomorrow, just wondering, I haven't been able to find any nylon washers - anyone know if silicon ones designed for reducing noise between your hdds and screws would work just as well? any replies much appreciated aiiii

It means you tightened the heat sinks to much

On another video it said to run your fan over the top of the taller heat sink as thats where the heat sensor is and run for 20 mins, other wise your console wont heat up enough to re solder itself.

instead of getting 3 lights i get 2. iv tried putting on more thermal paste and tightened the screws a little more and i still get 2. Any help?? Plz

it mean that your heat sinks are not adjusted right they are to loos

Should my power supply light be green when letting it over heat? Mine is orange when i turn it on after doing this so what color should it be??

well first my xbox screen went funny colours, i tried doing the towel thing, it worked for a week then i got 3 lights, i did the towel thing about 4 different times. then i did the thermal paste change, but i left the xclamps on, again lasted about a week but would always get 3 red lights again. i did that about 4 different times aswell. then i tried changing the xclamp with washers and screws, but now the 3 red lights wont go, no matter how many times i overheat it. any ideas?? anyone???

you should NEVER do the towel trick. it causes so much damage. you probably have to heat gun your xbox now. gl don't explode it.

i've tried this process on my xbox and for some reason its not working. instead the 360 flashes the 3 red lights almost instantly after being turned on. where as before they took about 5 seconds to start flashing. any idea on why this is??

it means ur gpu is instantly overheating, more paste or tighten the screws.
