I wish I could have helped out in some way. I feel so bad for the animals, they are suffering just because of this stupid spill. That's why we should use biodiesel, it's cheaper, better for the enviroment, and it supports local farms. But this country is so slow with going green.

Pretty sure it depends. Because of the word "volunteer", I am pretty sure they do not get payments for saving penguins life. Some might. Still, if they did that I think they all deserve large sums of money.

Everyone becareful the toxic chemicals rise to the surface of the water in the gulf evaporate into the air and carried with wind rain and dumped on land. Becareful about eating your fruits and veggies cuz DOLE cuts OFF the celery leaves on the stalks that are burnt! I live in IL and my plants, trees, flowers have burnt black leaves, black burnt holes, white corrosion some leaves on the trees have fallen off already it looks like fall here

Would dearly love to be able to volunteer for these guys out there in Patagonia. Well done saving the little Humboldt Penguins. I hand feed a group of these not so long back at a wild life park in the Lakes. Such wonderful creatures although they are the most timid of the penguin breeds. Great work guys :)
