Nice light but today nothing can beat LEDs on a bike. The newest LEDs from Cree are much better than HIDs. Newest LED from Cree has an efficiacy of 186 lumens per Watt. That´s unbeatable!
You'd still need 17.5W worth of those LEDs to beat a 35W HID (3200 Lumens)... With that many LEDs you get a very uneven light distribution even with the best reflectors...
Also, those 186Lumens/Watt LED:s from Cree aren't even in production yet...If they haven't been able to push them from R&D to Production the past 3 months (unlikely).
I agree Gromitdog1, I think flood is much better for bikes or any ride for that matter, unless you plan to actually do 150mph all day, than spot could be useful.
What's it called when you have a mix of spot and flood? That would be very nice. (scattered light maybe)
I just got Xenon Headlights kit yesterday from SparkHID DoTCoM, install it today, man what a big difference. LOVE THEM, WILL EVER GO BACK TO HALOGEN BULBS. Nice, Bright and clear. can see all the pot holes and speed bumps ect....They got good some cool headlights sparkhid dotcom

Downside about LEDs is the darn heatsink they require to make them last. I have two 900Lm and haven't hooked them up due to the heatsink issue.
