  • I don't know if "pa" has been used or not. I have heard it umpteen times on a CD. The flap says it's Miyan Ki Todi. I do hope the music companies do their research before labeling the CD with a raga.

  • as far as i know i think "pa" - can not be there . its not there in "Gujri Todi", its in "Miya Ki Todi".

    No dear, it is gujari todi.This raag is discover by Raja Mansingh Tomar of Gwalior Kingdom in the 14'th century. He was a great dhrupad singer at that time.The name gujari is given on his queen gujari rani (nick name - Mriganayani). Also two beautiful colours of Todi is Miyaan ki Todi - (discover by miyaan Tansen) , Bilaskhani Todi - Discover by Bilaskhan miyaan son of miyaan Tansen was also a great singer of mughal darbaar.
