you have to use 1800 dpi with 3/11 and 1000 hz since this game does not support directinput. that will fix the problem. the problem lies within windows. there is nothing wrong with your mouse, only your settings. this will cause your deathadder to actually aim at 450 dpi, but that's the price you have to pay to eliminate neg accel caused by the way windows handles mouse pointer movement in non-directinput games. try my suggestion for any FPS, it works.

BFBC2 is an astonishing online game. It is way much better than Call of Duty MW2. The weapons make the game so much more entertaining. If you haven't already played the game, I suggest getting it from BFBC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ).

A modder released a fix over on the EA forums. I tried it tonight and it works like a charm.

Head over there or type "negative acceleration/vehicle sens fix tool" into google (remove the quotation marks).

It is really annoying. Its like if ur shot in the back and need to quickly turn around u would have to move ur mouse more than u usualy do. Theres absolutely no precision there.

Casual gamers dont care if the mouse control has lag or smoothing or acceleration or whatever, heck, most of them even have mouse acceleration turned on in windows :/.

the part when you go to the options menu, it shows advanced settings but advanced settings don't appear for me but everything else does, is this only in the beta version ? I have the full game not beta. Could someone shed a light on this matter. Thanks

Do you have a joystick or gamepad plugged into your computer? That can cause such a problem, with the gamepad sending a LOOK-UP signal.

Negative mouse accell issn't an uncommon problem, most lower-end games have it. I wouldn't worry about it, just don't try to turn the mouse any faster and you'll be fine.

For us veterans out here the game is 100% unplayable. An FPS is all about speed and precision, neither of which you can do if you're fighting with the computer over control of the mouse. We can't just "not worry about it and be fine," it's like rally racing with a drunk engine. It's either a simple oversight that needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY or they really want a lot of people to give up on BF forever.

I've been a BF vet since the 1942 and has since made the switch to the 360; and I can say BF:BC is one of the few PC games that has been able to make the jump to consoles and still be incredibly fun. Dice might not be making PC gamers happy at this point but the franchise on the consoles is doing amazingly well and is just plain fun, unlike MW2 (for the 360 atleast)

I'm implying that the mouse problem is a minor prgolem that shouldn't be even talked about. The game is not really that good, singleplayer seems to a cheap copy of CoD4MW2 and Crysis, but it's still a new game to play. And about the last comment: I'm not suprised, Dice is known to release not properly play-tested games and patches.

Typical ignorant comment above from SilentShadow. In an FPS, mouse sensitivity is god. If the sensitivity is off, it will be hard to play, and that gets worse with more experienced players who have ALWAYS had smoothing turned off. Anyways, I checked into the config and fixed it myself, posted a thread in the BC2 forums about it called MOUSE SENSITIVITY SOLVED!!!
