I remember ordering my first tapout t-shirt in 2002 online, i emailed them asking about sizing and within the day i got an email back from mask being overly helpful with getting me the right size, i couldnt believe what a nice guy he was helping me out then forgot about it until i heard he passed away. truely sad.

Mask and the Tapout show was what got me hooked on MMA. His passion for the sport was contagious, and like you said in the blog, he was sincere in his concern for the fighters. That's what impressed me the most -- even though he had such a colorful personality, he seemed to stay grounded and he connected so well with so many different people. It's a loss for the sport, but the world lost a good soul too.

Id always be like "how could you not like them?" people always say his antics were over the top. Well what ever man, he loved life. He was a good man who cared about people and the sport i love. That was an excellent blog Frank. Mask is an icon in the sport and people need to understand how big of an impact he had on the sport of MMA. He will be greatly missed.

Funny little side note, he was on the cover of the UFC video game, "Throwdown", taking a knee from Tito Ortiz.
