well thats why i got the macbook pro cause the black macbook was 1500 and for 500 more i got a graphics card a bigger hardrive and bigger screen it was aluminum and thinner it would be dumb not to upgrade for only 500 and get all that

That sounds great! But for some people, that extra $500 would just be going toward extra power that they don't really need. If you are doing some heavy projects and tasks on your MacBook it wouldn't be a bad move to spend the extra $500. But for most, the $1,599 MacBook is defiantly sufficient. But I hope you enjoy your MacBook Pro immensely! I know I would :)

It is TOTALLY worth it though! I got the $1,599 model. The backlit display is AMAZING!

I got the one with the 512mb graphics, in the UK i payed £2,000 with a printer and some cool software.
