  • i shoot a lot and the first time i used the sb900 it let me down cuz it died in the middle of a shooting at a wedding so i had to wait few minutes ,while i wait i had to use a sb800

now i do carry 2 with me just in case i can swap em right away....do you think is worth to sell the sb900's to buy the 910?

    thanx

  • @cumbias40 The sb900 had a feature that shutdown the flash if it was in danger of overheating whereas the sb910 abandoned that feature and instead implemented slower recycling times if the flash begins to overheat.

  • love the squirrel nut zippers playing in the background

  • How would you say this one compares to the 900? Are there any huge upgrades that can justify buying this?

  • @krolltan The main complain with the SB900 was the thermal cut out. Which, you could shut off in the settings, making that kind of a moot point. I've put the SB-910 through some tests already and I can tell you that it seems to hold out and not really heat up at all. Though physically, there are not too many differences between them SB-910 does seem to be a little more efficient.

thanks for the upload, can you use the same battery pack of the sb900, I mean is it compatible, does it use the same connectors?
