Give it a break you guys! This machine wasn't even designed to emulate 32bit consoles, instead of bashing it you should give it a little thought of what that handheld IS and what it was DESIGNED FOR. On the successor handhelds of that there's a new emulator that runs almost flawlessly.

And the psp is a bulk with AWFUL buttons that are unsuited for anything save for rpg. I almost broke my direction pad yesterday in frustration while playing Darkstalkers Chronicles.

You imbecils! PSP only has better PSX emulation, because of an official emulator by sony that can be cracked. Every other single emulator runs better on gp2x, except N64.

Well, I, an owner of a homebrew-ready PSP have to say that it depends on what you want to do with your system. :) If you want something that has the capabilities of becoming a computer in and of itself, shoot for the GP2X. It's community has alot of homebrew backing (not just emulation,) so it's got quite a few neat little tweaks out there. :)

But, if you want a wider range of homebrew capabilities, including PERFECT SPEED Psx games, then go for the PSP. Just be sure to get the right firmware version. (Shoot for something under 3.40, I'd say, then scour for a downgrader, then update to an CFW.)

i would say PSP. i have a custom firmware PSP and its great.

the screen is bigger and higher resolution so things look better. it supports upto 8GB memory stick pro duo so plenty of memory.there are lots of emulators that rn full speed.(the PSx emulation on PSP is almost fullspeed)

It can emulate pretty much everything at full speed, I even beat tactics and FFIX on it.

And its not really that expensive.

I think that F200 doesn't have better hardware inside, only D-Pad, new white case, touchscreen and new firmware.

Just to give you an idea of how godly this emulator is, I did a straight port of pcsx (linux) to the Nokia 770 and was getting about 0.6-1.2 fps in the games i tried. These guys have optimized the smack-duck out of this emu. Fantastic work zodttd!

if you want a console for the best in homebrew and earlier emulation get a gp2x, if you want graphics and great games then get a psp

square enix better not remake squaresofts master pieces. ever since square soft became square enix, theyre games went to shit. the storyline sucked more, the characters looked way too powerful and moved too fast. dont believe me? compare square soft's ff7 for ps1 to square enix's advent children movie. it sucked cuz the characters looked way too powerful. the fight scenes were way too quick.

news, flash, the movie was made by the creators of FF7. I'm sure that's how they wished the game could have looked, if not for the technical limitations. And what do you mean they were too fast? Did you expect onscreen ATB bars?

the enix part of the company wasnt involved in advent children, they had most of the guys that did the original game, and of course a few new guys. would u want the fight scenes in adv ent children to look like they did on the game? i dont really care, ff12 was a let down for me, but i loved ffx-2 nice fast battle system, and from what ive seen, ff13 IS GOING TO BE EVEN FASTER!

In Kalm, there is house with old guy and his dog. On 2 floor is locked box. Then appear comment like"Locked.Cant open it" . Antone knows how to open it?

that box contains master summon, master magic and master item you have to defeat a weapon then trade some stuff and bring it back to the old man then he will give those to you its really worth it. havent played this game in a long time its been ages FFVII rules
