That line seems to powerful to me to be a reference to something that obscure, more like pure emotion being channeled through the lyrics. Just my interpretation though :) I can't believe this is one of my favorite songs...without even learning the wonderful lyrics :o

You can notice that in this song he doesn't trill his r's like in the other songs, probably to make it sound more "sentimental". In the other songs he trills the r's to make it sound harder, I suppose.

Hopp Rammstein, eure Lieder sind einfach großartig, macht weiter so! Ich bin zwar nicht ein extremer Fan, aber ich habe die Lieder trotzdem recht gern. Besonders "Mutter" ist einer meiner Lieblingslieder von Rammstein.

Rammstein's songs are awesome, but this is one of my personal favorites.
