@OJJVZ I looked into the trucks themselves and you maybe right, their stats are very much similar. But look how cheap that board looks. The wheels are small, the board is narrow, then the trucks have all these flashy holes in them. All those things gives me the impression that it's a cheap board.

Now my Paris trucks are for downhill stability yet it can carve just as smoothly as this video.

@zukarius The problem with original trucks is that they're very unstable at speed. When you pass 20 on the black springs expect vicious speed wobbles. The plastic wave cams break very easyily and need to be replaced often. They squeak very loudly when they are not properly lubed. They are also very heavy.

@zukarius to be exact, they are not bad trucks for some carving and city riding or anything nice and slow, if you pass like 20 or 25, it start to become extremely unstable. So if your buying original truck, why not get something like randall/paris and such that give you same feeling and yet able to go above 20 easily? it's win win :D

if you tighten them to bomb hills and turn to sharp then they break a part in them called wave cams and they over correct with speed wobble, when you have wobbles the spring corrects it and it just keeps going back a forward and they're heavy and squeaky but i have original trucks and i've gone about 35mph on them with no speed wobble, you just have to get used to them

OS trucks are mediocre if you're just beginning. As for more experienced riders, the base plates warp and get so messed up wicked fast. On my Apex 37 I replaced the trucks with R-2's and with my Pintail 39 I roll paris-180's, I recommend anybody does likewise if you want to start doing the fun stuff
