  • I think you should just start doing some toning workouts if you put on more lean muscle the little extra weight would just fall off and you would be nice and toned. Charliejames1975 (her youtube name) has some really good toning videos you could do for girls! She has good ones for beginners and stuff too on her site and its free so check it out if ya want.

  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with your shape.

    Anyway as far as health goes. Try and cut out white flour and refined sugars (this means no breads and pastries made with white flour and also no sugary snacks). Of course I'd say avoid as much processed stuff as possible. If it comes in a man made container or wrapper, its probably bad :)

  • Ah once again I commented too early in the video...silly me. I am addicted with a capital A to soda also. One thing I do is limit myself to soda only if i'm having a big meal. If that makes you eat breakfast then thats good. Plus soft drinks can make you crave salty stuff after since they are so sweet and if you have them WITH the meal then it can curb that craving.

  • I'm def. the same shape as you. I'm cool with everything except for hips, butt, and thighs. Soo frustrating. My best tip is to go on a daily walk. I know it seems silly but it really does help. That or try something like p90x. Since you are in generally healthy shape you would be able to do the workout. It will force you to lose weight even if you don't do the nutrition guide. I'm doing it now and it def. works. Good Luck!!!

  • Sounds obvious, but eat more fruits and veggies. There are negative calorie fruits and veggies, meaning you burn more calories digesting the food than it actually is. Drink a LOT of water, and getting a good amount of sleep can help too. AND ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST!

  • And if your a coffee drinker, black coffee can also help speed up your metabolism.

  • green tea is known to help you lose water weight and oolong is known to help break down fats (which is why some chinese restaurants serve it instead of jasmine). If you like tea and don't add sweetener, it's a healthy way to go! antioxidants and most teas have other benefits for your heart or things like that! And I have a similar shape to yours, I believe it's called "woman" lol, DANG YOU METABOLISM! Don't worry about haters, if you want to be healthy then do it!

  • use weight watchers its not a diet its a way of life and is really easy once you do it for a week noing the points is just like noing your eyeshadow names it comes naturally

  • Dancing zumba works great! In combination with drinking lots of water. I am also trying to get back in shape.... it's hard though with all those nice icecreams in the summer;) I wish you good luck!

  • Hey Tracy, Here is a quick weight loss tip:

    by switching form soda to vitamin waters you can loose 10+ pounds!! I did and i am very happy with the results:D

  • aw i know what you mean about not being overweight but wanting to be in shape and feeling better, that's what I was trying to do then I got off track so seeing this I know I got to start again. I'm the same way I feel out of shape and I am actually starting to get sick of fast food because I know it's not good for me lol. We can do it!! (:

  • i just turned 14 (my birthday was yesterday) and i weigh 97 which doesnt seem like a lot at all.. i dont think i need to lose weight. just do situps lol

  • Okay, when I saw this, I did a double take. I was like .. :-O ?? Weight? Her? No!! I always thought you've had the perfect body..! (Not to sound weird.. lol) But anyways, best of luck. =] You can do it! Do you drink diet soda or regular soda? Diet soda will obviously cut the calories lol. =)

  • lol, i wish!! i know it's weird b/c we see all these girls on youtube and only see from like neck up mostly so it's hard to tell.. i drink regular soda b/c im allergic to splenda and my body doesn't like aspartame either!

  • Yeah, aspartame isn't good for your body whether you like it or not (I've heard that it can cause cancer), so drinking regular soda, in some ways, is better than diet soda. (:

    But I read in Reader's Digest that liquid calories are the worst kinds of calories! Ugh, it's hard, ik, because I am addicted to Vitamin Water..! :-/

  • yeah, liquid calories are a total waste of calories!! i'm a big believer that regular soda in moderation is much better than just drinking diet soda as if it were water. i do feel much better when im drinking water and tea and juice. it's just hard b/c soda tastes sooooo good ;)

  • I know you can do it and don't feel bad about other people saying you don't need to lose weight. If it would make YOU feel better, than thats all that matters. And being able to wear your old clothes, feels really good :) haha
