Incorrect. Certain Altaic groups do show a frequency for haplogroup X. The suggestion is that Altaic X may be an intermediary between European and American Indian X groups. Since the ancestral population initially came from the Middle East and branched, it would make sense that this haplogroup would split in two ways. No "white" or "Caucasian" people living in the Americas occurred to explain the presence of X among Natives.

I am not afraid of the truth, if that's what you're asking. For your information, genetic testing has already been conducted on several Paleoamericans, including Kennewick Man. So far, they've all had American Indian haplogroups. "To date, mtDNA has been successfully extracted from about a dozen Paleoamericans from N. America. All belong to haplogroup B, C, or D." (Dr. James C. Chatters).

The haplogroup X that is on the wikipedia page may not be right. Last I had heard before seeing that was that no DNA had been usable on Kennewick Man. I figured I had missed the news. After I posted, I went and dug around and cannot find any link that shows they have come out with a sure result on his DNA. If you have a link, pease post it for me. I want to know the truth too.

They tested Kennewick man's DNA back in 2005, however, the results were inconclusive. Kennewick Man has simply been exposed for too long to the elements.

Also, haplogroup X is not found in S. East Asia or among the Ainu people. Haplogroup X has been found, however, among the Altai people in Central Asia, whom are Mongoloid peoples. Researchers have found that the haplogroup X in the Altai is most similar to the X in Amerindians. Suggesting that Indians brought X into America.

I knew something didn't sound right so that's why I started looking for all of the news stories on him and couldn't find any proof of any DNA results. We can never be sure about Wiki, but if you have any questions as to their authenticity, usually they have a bibliography on the bottom of the page. I have heard about those mummies. They are older than the Mongoloid (modern Chinese) peoples. We shouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions though, because the Mongoloid morphology is a relatively late physical trait. Mongoloid peoples didn't fall from the sky, they are probably the modern descendants of these people.

We are being lied to about a lot of things. You should read Michael Cremo's 'Forbidden Archaeology' and you will see many things you have never heard before or have been lied to about. They sound convincing because they have a tendency to leave out any contradictory claims that will refute their arguements. The DNA evidence just doesn't support such claims. Google the following "Mitochondrial DNA haplogroups of Paleoamericans in North America". The vast majority of geneticists support a single founding population of Native Americans.

The Windover Florida Bog mummies are not American Indian and are of European DNA. The Tarim Basin mummies are of European DNA. Blonde mummies found in Peru. There was a book written in the 1800's by an American Indian woman who told of the tall red-haired people that were already here and they were killed off. Giant skeletons found as well

That doesn't mean Kennewick was American Indian, nor Mongoloid when we don't have DNA. He could be, but orbital shape looked Caucasoid. Maybe we'll never know for sure. In the journals I provided, the explaination for why Kennewick, and others like him, look different from modern Amerindians is due to natural phenomenon like genetic drift. And although they see craniomorphological differences between Paleoamericans and Indians, mtDNA remains unchanged. I don't trust the analysis of the Windover Bog due to the fact that it is an isolated incident, Dr. Joseph Lorenze himself mentioned a likely hood of accidental contamination by field workers.

Caucasoid ancestry questions will be determined in the Court system and challenged by Sovereign Nations as per religious belief. ...just like Europe, there are Germans, Italians, Bulgarians and even though they are European, they have different looks and genetic make-up. They are still Europeans, but different. The same with Native people. In old first-hand accoutns European settlers stated that Paiutes were different looking then the neighboring California Indians. Also they wrote that Paiutes did not have Asiatic features, and Kennwick Man was found on the border of Paiute country.

Chuck, most people believe that all Native people are the same. There were over 500 nations just in the North America. We had different cultures, languages and customs. We were still all Natives, but not all Natives look alike or are from the same genetic stock.

Sadly, i have seen a man argue saying after 10 generations we cannot be related he actualy said,  i wish they were here so they could tell us were not related. they dug them up and wouldnt let us rebury them. the artifacts went a museum in england...
