I see that many people want this to be played at their funeral. Understandable - it works well. However, I want to this play in the last six minutes of my life. The ending sounds like someone faintly managing a weak smile before shuffling off their mortal coil. Indeed, the last line sounds like someone's last words: "One of these days..."

My grandfather is dying of kidney failure. When it seems like the end is nigh, I will quietly come in and play this. It's one of his favorites.

Now, The Kwinana Town Council and Medina Rate Payers Assoc. are currently planning the redevelopment of the Medina business area, and Ive contacted them about having some kind of recognition/memorial for Bon on the site. So far I have had bugger all of a response from them.

Fabulous song. I had the chance to see the original group twice before Bon's death. Amazing concert. Best one was when they opened for Cheap Trick, who opened for Ted Nugent.
