anyone interested in learning the solo, look up "justinguitar comfortably numb guitar lesson" most of your online sghts are bait and switch or awful sites, inaccurate improvs, etc. The Justinguitar site has been my go to sight since I 1st learned wind cries mary. and The guy is really good, there are chapters, lessons for every guitarist from beginners to advanced. (I'm sure those of you out there who already know EVERYTHING wont learn much ;)

for for anyone who is trying to play this solo, the magic happens on the guitar.

on your amp you just select clean and add some reverb.

on your guitar set the switch to rythm, and lower your tone. it gives you the david gilmoer blues sound

I fucking hate this backing track. Doesn't really try to capture the mood or feeling of the original song at all. Someone just took the MIDI and used better instrumentation, that's all.

The synth is terrible and repetitive, the drum fill are awful, the rhythm guitar isn't heavy enough. Just awful. And I hate that this is the backing track that most people use.

I just found a great preset for my Vox VT15 and searched a Backing track. Great work, mate. The solo on "Pulse" isnt less than the best solo ever (IMO). Thanks a lot!

PS: If you have a VT15 or so, go to valvetronix website (search it in google) and look for "Comfrotably Numb", the one with 5 stars. Nails it closely.

the scale is B Minor Pentatonic, now you can improvise a little bitt on this track :)

@Vaerco its good at e minor dorian or b minor (not just the pentatonic) too (I know they're both the same scale but if you think the song in e you can give another development for it). Is good to start the solo the same way as gilmour does. It gives you a line of tought for the rest of the improvisation
