I am late to the request, but I would really enjoy seeing more of the show... this was one of my favorite as a kid. I also loved Agatha Christie novels as a child. Go figure. I'd be happy if you posted it. Thanks.
I would enjoy seeing more of the Snoop Sisters on You Tube. It is one of my all time favorites. I would love to also see some quality dvds produced on the series. There were only five episodes made. How hard could that be?
I wish tv was still this good. There is so much crap on tv these days.CSI Miami,NY,LA.Honest to God,does anybody have a clue how to make a good show today?
One of the things that you may have noticed about my postings is how I try to make things as HD as possible. This includes some processing and tweaks that take time. Plus the sheer size and the number of blocks that it would take to upload a whole movie is enormous. It's very time-consuming even with my ultra-high speed connection. So if enough people request it, then I will know it's all worthwhile. Otherwise I'd be like Jessica Fletcher trying to avoid a murder. That's ALOT of work!!
Once I met a guy that had a copy of a film, and he posted a clip, but not the whole film, so I asked him to send me a copy of the Lana Turner film, and he sent me one and the rest is history. Now Slightly Dangerous is on youtube for all to enjoy!!! Maybe you can do the same thing and float me a copy, so I may have the pleasure of uploading it. Either that or post this film very very soon! I'm dying here, Snoop Sisters, it's Paulette Goddard's last performance. I'm dying here.
Actually it's a common misconception that there was any connection between these two stories other than the casting of the two ladies. Otherwise they're completely different productions by different studios. Do Not Fold Spindle Or Mutilate was an episode of The ABC Movie Of The Week that aired on November 9, 1971. Notably, the next episode was shown that Saturday the 13th on the ABC Movie Of The Weekend called Duel. It was directed by the guy who did The Sugarland Express.
I've tried for years to find the TV movie the series was based on: Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. It starred Hayes, Natwick, Sylvia Sidney and Myrna Loy. These bored old ladies decided to have some fun by creating a fictional woman for a computer dating service - using punch cards no less! They were matched up with a psychopath who stalked them and tried to kill them. Now we meet psychopaths on the internet - no more punch cards.
I remember this show running when I was ten years old. It's how I learned who Helen Hayes and Mildred Natwick were!
I would love to see the entire show posted.
Thank You!
