Green Day is the reason for me liking this band. I was NOT searching for the song, Good Riddance... Actually, Green Day got me into music, then I quickly started listening to bands from the East Bay scene, then Californian punk bands, and just punk in general. I was playing one of those Tony Hawk games, checked out some of those punk bands, and Good Riddance was one of them. Since then I've grown to love them. It's a shame they broke up and I won't ever get to see them live...

I remember bein like 12 at warped tour 98 when i found myself accidentally in the front row for GR asking this punk chick "is green day about to play this stage?" haha and she was like "this band is 1000 times better than Green Day kid, just watch out for the circle pit" - they came on and I fell in love! (with Good Riddance not the girl) THanks for all the great times GR! I'll miss your sick shows!
