haha, what an idiot. You cannot have VTEC without load on the engine, it would tear it up. That being said, there is a FACTORY 2 step rev-limiter at 5500 RPM's in neutral. VTEC hits at 6,000 stock, in GEAR.

@GNNMS07 Dude, I duno if you ever saw an SI engine bay, but this one is 09 SI. If your concern is that the rear chrome piece is chrome, it's cus it's 09 SI. 06-08 had those pieces painted. This car has k20z engine which is 2 liters vs 1.8 on other trims. Also, there is no way near 1k for SI parts... in fact getting them, painting, etc.. will be much more then 6 k.

Nice exhaust sound. I have the same 09 Si but I only have the Greddy Ti-c exhaust system. You mention that you have the eibach sportline springs couple questions. How's the ride, how low the civic was drop and do you needed a camber kit for it? Info would be helpful. Nice ride and don't hit VTEC too much. lol.

An intake is going to be your best bang of your buck and not that difficult to do your self. An exhaust wont gaing you to much hp so I based mine on sound. My next mod is going to bore out my throttle body by king motor sports. Than hopefully I'll get my ECU reflash. Good luck

The "exhaust system" was just a muffler. A proper exhaust is from the down pipe back or header back.
