@qwer112233z So that you could continue to mock God in your ignorance as you are doing now, and will most likely continue to do, storing up for yourself more wrath when you are judged. Romans 2:5...
So...keep mocking and scoffing. It will only get worse :) We as believers will only be left shouting "hallelujah" as we watch the smoke of your living burning body rise forever and ever. Revelation 14:11; 19:3
@qwer112233z On the other hand, should you choose to repent and believe this Gospel that you so readily mock, then God will not count your sins against you, and you can live forever right here on a new earth. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Jesus died willingly to save your sorry mocking butt, and that because He loves you and doesn't want to smell your burning rotting body forever :)
@qwer112233z Even if you are wearing deodorant, it is gonna stink! So, I would suggest, as others would here, that you turn from your wicked mocking ways, admit that you are a sinner headed for a very hot place, and believe that you are worth saving because Jesus died for you to give you a new live. We won't be able to throw you any ice to give you relief, and no igloo's with bottled water allowed - repent!
The Temple has tobe rebuilt and the Anti-Christ must pronounce (also a great falling away)that he is God in the Temple of God before the Shakinha Glory is seen in the sky. The Temple of God is all ready tobe rebuilt it just has a little problem..The Dome of the Rock is on the Temple mount. There is no Imminent return of Jesus Christ and that teaching is a false teaching. Read your Bible don't listen to Pastors that teach people what they want to hear, we will go through great testings.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
When I was younger I read the Matt 24 as if Jesus was talking to his contemporaries, but I was young and the older people said otherwise. So, I just went with what the older people said. Later I was told that I was reading it right in the first place. Then, I asked the question "what's the point of what the Bible says?" I was told it's out of obedience and worship that we do what the Bible explains. Not because we are looking forward to the 2nd coming. The so-called "rapture" is a distraction.
The rapture is not unbiblical. And it wasn't "made up" at any point in time, as the description of the rapture is in the text of the Bible. The only question is, do you take the text literally? Just because prominent theologians of old (whom I deeply respect) interpreted it a certain way doesn't mean that all of humanity is obligated to follow suit forevermore. That's ridiculous. IMO, a literal, pretribulation interpretation of the rapture is the only one that makes sense.
@luvmusic487 That's a poor interpretation of Matt. 24. When Jesus said "this generation" he actually meant "this generation". Not "that". He was talking about a coming judgement on Israel. There is no rapture. In fact, the Bible doesn't even say the word rapture. Yes, Jesus is coming back, but not in the way that a lot of people talk about it.

The Greek lexicon harpazo (“caught up”) is translated as: to snatch, to seize, to take suddenly and vehemently (by force) <- Used in 2 Cor 12:2-4, Acts 8:39, Rev 12:5, Acts 1:11. (Did the research for you, you're welcome)
“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”...“I, Jesus"..."He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!”
@rumster01 Yes..ahh how does this in any way prove the imminent return of Christ? Be not decieved a day is as a 1000 years to the Lord. I do believe he is coming soon, as humans reckon "soon". :)2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
If the theory of evolution creates a problem for your theology, that does not mean evolution is wrong. It means there's a problem with your theology. o_O
I am premillenialist but I follow the prewrath idea of the rapture. I think this pre-coming invisible rapture is not how it will happen. The day of the Lord when Christ comes in the air is exactly when the rapture takes place before the wrath of God poured out on earth and after satan's wrath through the Antichrist.
I recommend googling "answers in revelation" for a good full proof study verse by verse Scripture interpreted with Scripture to show you're partially right. The rapture is when we're gathered in the air with Christ in glory at the first resurrection and then we will descend with Him to our habitation... the New Jerusalem when He begins His reign for 1000 years. God bless.
@MaharlikaAWA ....lol.....you can't have it both ways. The rapture occurs....the peace treaty is signed and the 7 yr. countdown begins....at the middle of the 7 yrs......the wrath of God begins. So you are not pre-trib but pre-wrath....and in error. BTW, the model for the invisible rapture is Enoch....who was, and then was not.
@MaharlikaAWA ...Yes pre trib because that is the only way that works with a literal interpretation. There is no way the Great Tribulation can start at the beginning of the seven years Israel has left....and the Holy Spirit must needs be removed before the peace treaty can be signed because the signing reveals the anti-christ since he is the enforcer of the treaty and cannot be revealed until the Holy Spirit is removed entirely. Since the Holy Spirit lives in Christians...we can't be here.
@KJVWordofGod Yeah ill look into it more. Both pre trib and pre wrath are confusing but dont flip out because at least im not amillenial or postmillenial. I say either pre trib is true or pre wrath and im okay with that.
@MaximumAxiom, @staum607 "I found the evidence for Evolution overwhelming and undeniable" really??? i pwnd about the best evidence being DNA.
i challenge you to STATE the BEST evidence for MACRO evo that has STOOD THE TEST OF TIME FROM DARWINS DAYS. ur fairytale "theory" has been around for a long time & darwin supposedly had evidence there & then; so what is the best evidence he used? science makes hypotheses based on real evidence not on wishful evidence
That is no way Jesus Christ's Second Coming, when He comes back, every eye shall see him and hear the 'last trump', the Universe, the elements, the Earth and the works therein shall be burnt up (Rev. 1:7, 1 Thess. 4:13-18, 2 Peter 3:10-12). The dead will be raised and Judgment of God shall take place (Matt. 24:36-51 - chapter 25). The rapture is a false man made doctrine.
Evolution is a fairy tale for grown ups? You really mean to say the theory of evolution, the big bang theory, geomorphology, (I could make a huge long list) etc... are all wrong. Why pretend you only disagree with one theory when you disagree with tons of theories from almost every field of research? Christian evangelism might be a little more successful if it didn't try to get people to reject like, you know, just about every field of scientific research from astrophysics to zoology.
@ddrninjette "I could make a huge long list" ... is this an argument? "reject like, you know, just about every field of scientific research from astrophysics to zoology."
What are you talking about? lol.. no but seriously dude.
@jwissick - No, telling ourselves that won't make it true. The truth of that statement is independent of what we tell ourselves, James.
I don't fear death, James, and I love learning about reality. Reality tells me that evolution is a fairy tale; a "just-so" story for people with fear of being held accountable for their sin.
@MaximumAxiom I did, that is why I acknowledged the truth about Jesus, then when I repented and put my trust in Jesus, God saved me. Have you evaluated evolution as an outside observer? No preconceived ideas, no assumptions that similar = related, or that micro proves macro. Leave behind all your bias and really look at it. You might not become a Christian by just doing that, but at least you would be a reasonable person (think David Berlinski)
When I first came to YT, I tried my best to figure out if Evolution was true because I had never really questioned it in the past. At the time I had many YEC's friends who made me question Evolution deeply and rid myself of assumptions. None-the-less, the result was that I found the evidence for Evolution overwhelming and undeniable. Virtually the same thing happened again about 2 years ago when I wondered if eating meat was justifiable. I am now a Vegetarian.
Also it's not very charitable to assume that someone who believes X is not a "reasonable person." If I did that to you then we could never have an honest discussion because we would both presume each other to be irrational pricks.
You should look up the "Outsider Test For Faith" and see if your belief in Christianity really does pass the test. I am not saying it cannot possibly do that, but you better have some reasonably powerful arguments in favor of Christianity to do so.
What you actually mean is "as a Christianity-hating atheist like me." I've actually met rational atheists who don't hate Christianity who actually see worth and merit in the religion.
