I usually watch every serial killer movie and documentary, but I don't think I could handle this one-killing little children. If it is graphic this would be going to far for me.
This man would be a poster child for the death penalty! And oh yes it would certainly bring a quick end to his savage crimes. He had a much more merciful end than the innocent children he butchered. In my opinion anyone who deliberately and purposefully preys on others has willingly forfeited their right to live. Animals. The death penalty may not stop others crimes but it damn sure stops the crimes of the dead guy! Sympathy for this guy or anyone like him is misplaced to say the least.
I finally got to see this film. I had been reading up on Fish for quite some time before seeing it. The film was a lot scarier than I thought it would be!
the list of infamous jewish serial killers is quite long such as Albert Fish, Peter Kudzinowski, Harvey Glatman, Joseph Kallinger, David Berkowitz, Harold Shipman, Joel Rifkin and The Unabomber Ted Kaczynski. Also, the Columbine HS murderers Klebold and Harris were homosexual jews the same as the famous Leopold and Loeb case from the 1920s.
@TheKelby93 Albert Fish's story does not need to be blown up, just told, which is what I have done.I will let you know when I make a good buck as it hasn't happened yet.
I just learned that this guy even existed about five minutes ago. I was watching Netflix, and this movie popped up as a suggestion.
I haven't watched the movie yet, but I'm kind of scared to because I get overly empathetic about this kind of stuff. I'm probably just going to end up crying my eyes out.
Ugh. Those poor, poor children. I sincerely hope that this guy is burning in hell.
As much as serial killers are humans, a man with many many psychotic diseases can hardly be reasoned with. I do not believe in an eye for an eye, but what do you want with a sicko such as this? Do you want to understand him? How could you possibly. Perhaps they could have attempted in analyzing and breaking down his insane personality further, but I honestly don't believe this is a case of "an eye for an eye". He is not a poor misunderstood man. He was a cold blooded murderer.
@queeksand Perhaps, but why? You must question the conditions in which he was brought up. It's your environment that conditions you into believing whatever you do. He may have genuinely believed what he was doing was right. Does that make him evil? No, just delusional. Perhaps he thought he was doing the right thing. So, if he thought he was doing the right thing, does this make evil? Again no, just delusional.
Some people are just too dangerous and troublesome to keep around. Executing a bloodthirsty monster is NOT the same as murdering, and eating a small innocent child.
Execution is not murder. Its not even justice. Its a precaution and example.
@TheMindFarter Ha. Then were is the proof that the death penalty is a deterrent to murder? It is a precaution and example for what? I find it funny that when a human kills another it is called murder but when it is sanctioned by the government it is not. What about rehabilitation? What about life in prison? Fish was obviously a sick person that should have been confined to a mental hospital but society wanted their revenge and killed him. An eye for an eye solves nothing.
I said an example. Not deterrent. People are products of thier genes and environment, if they have criminal tendencies it will come out regardless. I want people to know how murder is dealt with. A dead psychopathic murderer is safer then a live one. Psychopathia is largely genetic, it cant be rehabilitated. I agree the state is capable of murder. But killing is not necessarily murder. Prison is crueler in the long run, and endangers the well being of other inmate's.
@filmmakerjohnb Mindfart was talking about justice not crime deterrent. However, Fish was guy was obviously insane; he thought his execution would be fun. I'd love to seen him be punished - but he enjoyed pain - so what would be the point other than revenge. And revenge is murder - even when done with a Judge's signature. It's complicated - I get the revenge thing for crimes like this but we have to step back and think. After 2000 yrs its time for all us to try to be Christ-like (a humanist)
@filmmakerjohnb if i were to kill your mother would you like to have revenge? or just put me in a mental hospital which they do but they never recover!! it is not murder!! murder is a killing of a innocent person but if they put it in trial he confesses he should be gone! life in prison? While the people are dead you let him live? send him to the hell because if he kills someone he in what i think is asking for hell so why not give him his last wish!
@filmmakerjohnb That's true that the death penalty probably hasn't become a deterrent, but if it was done the right way then it would truly become a deterrent. This is not just revenge, but justice. I believe that there are many people in prisons that sadly, need 2 b executed because many are released and then cause more death and tragedy, or in the case of crime bosses, continue 2 run their gangs while in prison.
Well it solves something... this type of human detritus won't do it again just because there's a stupid justice system (worldwide) who's gonna let them go out for one reeason or another.
@filmmakerjohnb your forgetting that at the time of Albert Fish America had no real concept of what a sexually violent predator was, Albert Fish was executed because he was the first that brought that magnitude of attention, what your forgeting is that there was no model before him, he in fact was the model to deter crimes like this from occurring again. He's called the first for a reason
@filmmakerjohnb i completely agree with you, ive always used that quote "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" i dont believe in killing someone, no matter how barbaric they were, it doesn't solve anything, it just proves our fear for something. This man was disgusting, thank god this is the 21st century but there are still people out there like him. I have a child and it drives me nuts! What we need to do as people, a society, is make others aware about strangers and so on. so a thing
@filmmakerjohnb So society should give him free room and board with food for life? We pay for it. He served no purpose in society. There was no logical reason for him to exist. He was a danger. Bleeding heart liberals are ridiculous. Fight for the lives of murderers, yet fight for the right to kill unborn babies.
@filmmakerjohnb He was sooo sick.. yet most people saw him as a normal/loving person.. I think he was just evil and sadistic. And if your own kid would die in his hands, you'd want him to get death penalty too. Compared to the families of the murdered, i think death penalty was just an easy escape for someone like that.. And why would you want him in a mental hospital? He was an old child rapist/murderer who was obviously not insane, but just evil..
you dont even have to be sick to kill , tons of ppl do it every day. solders have killed tons of inosent children and people . same with police officers .
This is what i dont like about media....they always make movies & documentaries abt the wrong people....& they glorifies their crimes, making them the stars.
its sad to say tht the onli thing we can do wid sum one lik him is kill thm. he isnt safe around ppl in general. and im a person thas strongly against the death sentence
@stevensw for sure, and what about the others, the legitimated serial killers, the politicians, the military and all the other scum in this fucked up world??? There are serialkillers with sexual motivations and serialkillers with powerhungry motivations, both are bloody and acting without any remorse!!! F.T.W. !!!!
@hivelocity100 because he was a very religious man, but his whole family was fucked in the head so it mad him a bit loopy and he was bullied at school, and he found that if a saw a wrong in someone he would kill and eat them
I'll tell you what, Albert Fish scares me more than any other murderer I've ever heard of. He was a real life boggy man, and the monster in your closet. He is a child's worse nightmare come to life. I don't think he was evil, just sadistic and terrible for doing what he did, but I AM glad that he was stopped. Those children did not deserve what he did to them. Fish was a terrifying but fascinating figure, and I do hope that we never have another like him.
everyone always tries to wrap their minds about why or how someone could do these things. Its as simple as them being sick fucks and nothing more, its not worth trying to understand, we should just kill these scum when we can.
@filmmakerjohnb the difference is i can tell the difference between who should die and the little girl that doesnt deserve to thats what is the difference. He is a sick fuck and i would have no problem in killing someone like him myself, and i would lose no sleep over it. Murdering psychopaths are nothing new, what is new is pansies that wanna try to understand them and help them, i say once you cross the line and kill innocent people you should be next.
@filmmakerjohnb why try to speak sensibly to idiots like him? they'll never understand they'll always think that because their sentiments and ideals are nice and happy that they're right. a delusional notion that's become innate in humans and probably always will be
@scar504 You are right. I find consolation int he fact that not everyone shares that person's point of view. We cannot forget that serial killers are not werewolves or vampires. They are human beings.
As soon as men decide that all means are permitted to fight an evil, then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy. - Judgement of Nations.
I've got a book on serial killers, and Albert Fish is in here. He kidnapped and ate a little girl, then wrote to her parents. He said "I came to your house June, 3, 1928, and under the pretence of taking your daughter Grace to a party at my sister's. I took her up to Westchester County, Worthington, to an empty house up there and I choked her to death. I didn't fuck with her. She died a virgin." Makes me sick..
oh and his not a criminal mastermind, he ate children then jerked off to it, then wrote letters to relive it so he could jerk off again. A criminal mastermind fights the law worries about getting caught, Albert Fish didn't care what happened to himself. He just wanted to get off and he was lucky for a very long time!
I disagree I'd say Ed Gein. He cut up dead people (though he didn't kill them) and made trinkets and such from them.
Skull bowls, Skin lamp shades, skin covered chairs, actual face masks, mammary vest, had a box of vaginas, a vagina cup he could wear, strung together lips for blinds, nipples on a string.
As you can tell by those he was the inspiration for Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.
even if they did make him stand for the rest of his life he would have enjoyed that... he felt like punishing himself all the time.. he felt good when he was about to die.. . its like he gets a boner by being punished.. you have to know his history before you pick his punishment.. i would have rather have him live allllllll alone in prison.. he would have gotten nuttin out of that
The human mind is really a wonder. It's capable of such brilliance, while also being capable of such twisted insane ideologies. I read that Grace Bud's mother (Fish's first victim) was unable to speak for the rest of her life after reading the letter detailing her daughter's butchery.
I'd say "no execution would suffice", but the fact he had implanted metal rods into himself and got the chair, means his intestines broiled from the inside.. so he definitely felt some pain...
That's interesting, because I read somewhere that Grace's mother COULDN'T read. I wonder if the book I read it in got it wrong or something, but that's horribly sad. I think I'd wish I couldn't read if I got a letter like that.
ur totally right i feel sicked just looking at this pervert, no words can even describe how much i feel sickened by him gawd i hope he rots in hell,,,,i 1st herd of him on the murder ride on house of 1k corpses
I was watching the top 10 sereal killers and saw this guy..I thought his story was sick...I bet those parents were so upset escpecially when he wrote that letter to the little girls parents...that gave me the creeps man
ooh i remember seeing something a couple years ago, about a man who ate a 9 year olds body. im not sure if this is him. and im pretty sure chicken tast better than people.
albert... wow a true cold bloded killer oldest emo for sure... may be... name not intimatading.....apperiance neither but acts crual and ununderstandable
Um...thats different. Emo mean emotional not that they love pain. This guy is a sadomasochist which means he gets off on pain both enacting it on others and others enacting it on himself. His sadomasochism was extreme to say the least but if you look at his child hood you'd find out why...but thats still no excuse for what he did to kids.
um yeah, DDubya1974, he sent that letter to a GIRLS parents. grace budd. It is pretty horrifying, but thats what makes it cool. and yeah, nightmare before christmas is lame. i'm not saying what fish did is good, but he did it, so we might as well be fascinated by it.
i agree albert is a lot worse than ed,but ed was also cool, using human skin to reupholster furniture.i get told that i am weird for being fascinated with serial killers, but hey,at least im not one of the sheep infatuated with robert pattinson! and peanutstheelephant did they really dissect kids at camps?it sounds so wrong
WHAT? I almost didn't approve this comment as I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. Who in your opinion was worse than Fish and why? Fish has to be the most perverted and sickest of all.
Hey I never said Nightmare Before Christmas was bad, I just said I hated it, and let me correct what I said, its not overated, it's over over merchandised for dumbass little goth kids. Albert Fish was a true monster. He killed 9 children and confessed to molesting a little over a 100, worser people. There was an asian country where nearly everyone did this to kids, you don't hear about them. In concentration camps they would dissect children alive and take out organs to see how long they lasted.
I agree it is totally over-merchandised, but the art is amazing. I feel the atrocities Fish committed on others as well as himself make him unique and are so unbelievable for one old man to carry out. That why Holmes fascinates me as well, sure he had some cohorts, but he was one singular man who was a criminal mastermind.
It's true almost no one would suspect him for one he was just (what people thought) a harmless old man. Thats why the parents let him take her to the party, I guess he is more recognized because his age and how he was just one man and no one in America at the time knew there where such people. HH Holmes was a murderer who profited, selling the skeletons of his victims to universities and renting out rooms to people he was going to kill, he killed hundreds in the Chicago fair, plus he looks badas
@filmmakerjohnb I dissagree on that point. I don't find Fish's being elderly anything unbeleivable considering that his victims were only children. He was cunning, and thats something that can be acquired from age and experience.
No I don't agree with you at all on this, he was a sick and cruel person. He sent a letter and confessed to one of the boy's parents about how he killed, cooked and ate them and how good they tasted. Think for one second the horror of the thought of that if you're a parent.
What makes some1 an inferior being? what makes some1 unimportant? If you're serious about this comment i want an answer. email me if ud rather do that
bullshit is an art too... who are you kidding pal? Terminally Psychotic are ya? checking out stuff on serial killers in between jerking off to youporn..... is that an art ?
As far as I know it was the composers, Corey Jackson's, original composition. I did hear it on the Haunting in Connecticut trailer and am unsure if the big studios used it without permission or had the composers approval.
that story about him and grace budd is in the book weird new york, thats how i got interested in his story. then i read all the crazy shit he did and got mad nightmares.
That is one sexy Jesus......

Albert Fish is the most interesting man in history. For sure.
xhenaaaa 1 year ago 3
I disagree I'd say Ed Gein. He cut up dead people (though he didn't kill them) and made trinkets and such from them.
Skull bowls, Skin lamp shades, skin covered chairs, actual face masks, mammary vest, had a box of vaginas, a vagina cup he could wear, strung together lips for blinds, nipples on a string.
As you can tell by those he was the inspiration for Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.
Though, Ed Gein wasn't a serial killer.

even if they did make him stand for the rest of his life he would have enjoyed that... he felt like punishing himself all the time.. he felt good when he was about to die.. . its like he gets a boner by being punished.. you have to know his history before you pick his punishment.. i would have rather have him live allllllll alone in prison.. he would have gotten nuttin out of that

The human mind is really a wonder. It's capable of such brilliance, while also being capable of such twisted insane ideologies. I read that Grace Bud's mother (Fish's first victim) was unable to speak for the rest of her life after reading the letter detailing her daughter's butchery.
I'd say "no execution would suffice", but the fact he had implanted metal rods into himself and got the chair, means his intestines broiled from the inside.. so he definitely felt some pain...
reaperofdagrim 2 years ago 3
That's interesting, because I read somewhere that Grace's mother COULDN'T read. I wonder if the book I read it in got it wrong or something, but that's horribly sad. I think I'd wish I couldn't read if I got a letter like that.
myxheartt 1 year ago
You're right, it can't be true because Grace Bud's mother was analphabet.

hypasiarose956 2 years ago

There are worse people out there Albert Fish is more overated then Nightmare before Christmas, god I hate that movie.
peanutstheelephant 2 years ago
WHAT? I almost didn't approve this comment as I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. Who in your opinion was worse than Fish and why? Fish has to be the most perverted and sickest of all.
filmmakerjohnb 2 years ago
Hey I never said Nightmare Before Christmas was bad, I just said I hated it, and let me correct what I said, its not overated, it's over over merchandised for dumbass little goth kids. Albert Fish was a true monster. He killed 9 children and confessed to molesting a little over a 100, worser people. There was an asian country where nearly everyone did this to kids, you don't hear about them. In concentration camps they would dissect children alive and take out organs to see how long they lasted.
peanutstheelephant 2 years ago
I agree it is totally over-merchandised, but the art is amazing. I feel the atrocities Fish committed on others as well as himself make him unique and are so unbelievable for one old man to carry out. That why Holmes fascinates me as well, sure he had some cohorts, but he was one singular man who was a criminal mastermind.
filmmakerjohnb 2 years ago
It's true almost no one would suspect him for one he was just (what people thought) a harmless old man. Thats why the parents let him take her to the party, I guess he is more recognized because his age and how he was just one man and no one in America at the time knew there where such people. HH Holmes was a murderer who profited, selling the skeletons of his victims to universities and renting out rooms to people he was going to kill, he killed hundreds in the Chicago fair, plus he looks badas
peanutstheelephant 2 years ago
@filmmakerjohnb I dissagree on that point. I don't find Fish's being elderly anything unbeleivable considering that his victims were only children. He was cunning, and thats something that can be acquired from age and experience.
Skulldini 1 year ago
yeah idk. to me the reason he is one of the worst is because of his quotes.. and the letter he wrote to the little girl's mother.. pretty sick
diane6727 2 years ago 2
No I don't agree with you at all on this, he was a sick and cruel person. He sent a letter and confessed to one of the boy's parents about how he killed, cooked and ate them and how good they tasted. Think for one second the horror of the thought of that if you're a parent.
