Only the 60GB and 20GB models can play PS2 games. But from my experience and having a british 60GB, I'd say you're still better of using a PS2 for PS2 games.

Yeah if you're just going to use it for physical games then yeah get a cheaper one with less memory. But remember you may want to download games/add-ons/demos from the PSN in the future so it's always good to have extra hard drive space

I would say both, but you're more likely to find this type of bundle in say Gamestop over a Best Buy or ToysRUs.

Online would be your best bet though, you can find anything there.

the old 80gb ps3 is better than the new versions cuz the old ones had ps2 backward compatibility, slots to put camera an psp flash cards, supports super audio cd, and has 4 usb ports while the new one has 2 usb ports

It's still got the silver strip, it's just not as shiny metallic as the 60GB.

no it doesn't have backwards, but if you really need backwards, you can find the 60gb Ps3 which does have backwards and media card readers, just go on eBay.
