Let me give you some food for thought, compare the mental defect of a paedophile to a homosexual. If you're smart enough to make the connection, they're both basically the same on a biological level. But, even knowing that do we say that homosexuals have to be cured? I don't think so.

Now onto the rest; you know that people do have the ability to recover mentally? Physical damage can be repaired too but castration? You'll realise that's not so easy.

Without them their life becomes meaningless and they lose their drive and eventually turn into sad and depressed men who may or may not consider suicide.
