  • Bee-you-tea-full...Mama always said it wouldn't be easy, but we're learnin' along the weary way, right? Love the old house and the crickets for a backdrop. Is this your house? Thanks again for the wonderful music Ron! Great job on the viddie sister Suze!!!

    (((Hugs)))

    Donna~

  • @About2Rain Hi Donna! Thank you for listening. It ain't an easy life, but we're all just pilgrims. That house is up the mountain a ways, and nobody lives there. All the best, ron.

  • Wow, few notes are enough to tell how great artist you are. Beautiful tune. Thanks for sharing. Paul.

  • "it's the price you pay for one more day"

    Cool song concept!

  • This is beautiful. It is so true . Almost like an adult lullaby after finding out that it's a good , but not so easy life without the magic of those fairy tale characters we grew up thinking would come to our rescue! Amazing tune & Vid!! Am I way off on my perception of this song?? I've been eating alot of strange jalapeno & fluff sandwiches with wads of peanut butter, Suze! I may be a bit OFF !! :)

    Loved it To Peaces!! ♥

  • @imafishgod You are right on with your perception of this song, Paula. Thank you for listening, and watch out for the peanut butter and smoked oyster sandwiches!!!!

  • It sure was a beautiful day in all ways. This song is a masterpiece and you are a consummate artist, Ron. I am surprised by joy each time I hear your music, each time one of your songs is published. Love the 3/4 time! Love the editing! Love the cricket chorus! This is a brilliant and beautiful song; it's one of my favorites.

  • @suuzzee5 Thanks for sending me over suze. The crickets are in fact a nice touch. Great sense of place in this.

  • The best vocal I've heard from you, Ron. And the song was compelling, strong lyrics.

The background "noise" made everything sound even more authentic. By a healthy margin my favorite vid of yours (so far ;-) ).

  • @Oswlek Thank you!

  • Great lyrics and I love your lovely guitar playin' and singin' on the 'ol porch.Words of wisdom from your friend. My happiest memories were in the early 70's, I had a low rent farm and spent most of my days plantin', cuttin' fire wood, mulchin', cannin', and barely makin' the rent by selling art work and bartering, lot to be said for the simpler life, having just the bare necessities. I'm hoping to just live it, and "not make a living" again soon. Very enjoyable Ron n' Suze. Thank You ! :-))))

  • @profwaldo Thank you for listening. I hope your wish for simple living come true, and soon.

    all the best,

    ron

  • @RonIrelandmusic Haha, yeah well hopefully it isn't foisted upon me before I'm ready.

I hope I'm strong enough to still do it... Best to you too Ron. :-)

  • Oh man.....that's great stuff my friend. A trifecta. Beatiful day, setting and song. Awesome!

  • @eighthavenue It was a beautiful day in all ways. Thank you.

  • Simply beautiful in every way, right down to the critter's.:)

Mighty fine boys and girls, mighty fine!

  • @About2Rain Thank you for watching and listening. The critters thank you too. :)

  • You have expressed some complex ideas here in a few simple lines.

This one rings true and sounds beautiful...the critters added something. ;)

Beautiful photography, Suze. No enhancements needed. It is lovely as is.

    Thanks folks. NAncy
